Those darn action figure makers are always spoiling characters in movies, and they are at it again! Oh well. Some of us aren't into surprises, and besides, what's a blockbuster summer movie without a lot of merchandise to sell?

	Well, the Fallen doesn't look anything like the first toy that surfaced. This one actually looks cool. Devastator, if that is the actual thing, looks sick!!! I don't think this spoills the movie. 	To paraphrase myself from an eralier thread: "They should have simplified the designs a little, and made the robots more relatable. I could hardly bear staring at Optimus Prime's "lips" for more than a few moments without flinching in disgust, they gave us "Soundwave the Boombox/Cellphone" that looked like some kind of freak, swiss army knife, and now this?!" I really am not a fan of the overstylized, overcomplicated design that they decided to use for the characters. Wouldn't it have been just as effective, and probably a lot easier, to just simplify the designs a little?! 	I sorta agree with you adamant877. I mean I understand why the went the route they did when they redesigned Transformers, but during the fight scenes is what bothered me, I could barely tell the difference between robots when they got close, even some slow motion shots I couldn't make much out. 	I agree Stumblin. Another one of my concerns is... What's with all of the spikes and sharp edges?! You look at the boombox in some scenes, and you feel like your looking at a godd@mn metallic porcupine! And with the pictures of the Fallen, I feel like I've been transported from the Transformers movie, and now I'm watching the live action version of... Bionicle?! It's too distracting. When you add so much detail to the facial structure (of what essentially is supposed to be a robot), it takes away from your ability to relate to the character realistically. (Those are the moments when you're watching a movie, and you suddenly realize you're not watching the movie anymore, you're picking apart scenes, looking around, and wondering what you should have spent your $8-$10 on.) 	Well, this version of The Fallen, looks MUCH better than that green version we saw in the other article. HOWEVER, it's still not "The Fallen" Although it does have a very distinct ancient look to it, I have to agree with Adamant; it is very Bionicle looking. Which, isn't so cool. Face plates, yes. Robot lips, NO! That's just a bit on the retarded side. I still think this movie is going to be great, loved the first one and can't wait to see what they do with this one. I had no problem discerning between the robots during the fight scenes. I knew who was who, what was going on and who was getting their ass handed to them. So, are they going to turn Bumblebee into Goldbug for this one? They did have to rebuild him, so why wouldn't they? On another note. THE NEXT FAN ART CONTEST IS UNDERWAY! 	first of all Devastator looks RAW AS HELL! 	well, they look like all the other transformers from the movies, sleek, redesigned, too cool for their own good. None of those are complements. 	The fallen looks like a preying mantis with body armor on. But cool regardless. Idk if u guys didnt notice, probably did, but in the ROTF trailer, u can see what looks like optimus jumping on the one wheeled constructicon. youll see how small he looks. 	ROTF is a cool concept, shows that they are ready to make many movies. Bay isn't headed down the Superman vs. Luger road which is killing that franchise. Devastator looks awesome ! 	I have watched this website and all the comments for a while now. Finally I had to say something.. Adamant you have a good view of the transformers. I own every episode ever made and the truth is I love the movie but there were things that were aggravating ( optimus prime lips and all the spikes on all the characters were insane). But supermike and elbeaster the beast wars were a joke. I could not even watch a single episode, Even my son who is seven only watches the originals. Matt lask you have watched the cartoon transformer to many times if there is such a thing.LOL, I watched it with my son last night. 	Thanks wolf, much love. And I completely agree on Leonard Nimoy, that would be amazingly cool! Oh, and about the whole Beast Wars thing... Not a huge fan myself. It kind of contradicted the whole point of Transformers, and was a HUGE departure of the original story! And ElBeaster, I hate to break it to you, but Supermike exists for the same reason that Hyson does... 	Deadpool... Devastator is a group of Decepticon construction vehicles (or "Constructicons" as it were), that group together, a la "Vultron", to make one GIANT robot. Megatron will probably make another appearance in ROTF, but most likely not in the same form as what he left the first movie. And as for the Fallen?.. 	This Fallen gives me much less of a sad than the first... That thing was just awful. Even if that Devastator is just concept art (or more of them trying to provide "fake rumors") which they may not use, it is still effin hardcore. I think it goes far and above the monstrosity I was afraid they would come up with. Problem is, if they do end up going with something utterly disappointing, it will hurt even more now because it looks like they actually have talent in the designing of these things.
