Pre Order bonuses for Lego Marvel Super Heroes videogame reveal new characters...

A number of pre order bonuses for upcoming videogame 'Lego Marvel Super Heroes' have been outed, revealing a DLC pack of characters and an 'ultra exclusive' Lego minifigure...

Interested in the upcoming Lego Marvel Superheroes videogame and want to net yourself some awesome and might I add, exclusive, collectible swag? It's your lucky day.

The bonus you get will depend on where you pre order from; order your copy from Walmart and you'll get an ultra exclusive Lego minifigure of Iron Patriot who recently made a splash in Iron Man 3. This figure does not feature in any of the licensed Iron Man 3 Lego sets, so this could be your only chance to grab one. Guess that's what they meant by ultra exclusive...

Pictured above: The Iron Patriot exclusive minifigure, presumably moments after it fell from heaven.

If you choose to order from Gamestop, you'll grab yourself a none too shabby Lego Spider-Man keyring (which is currently avalibale to purchase in the shop), and if you're a Power Up Rewards member, you'll also get a DLC character pack (only for Xbox 360 and PS3 at the moment) because everyone loves day one DLC. The DLC pack includes 'Symbiote Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Thanos and much more'. Sounds like a worthwhile DLC pack, and whilst it is listed as very limited stock, it will no doubt be made available for download later on, so it is not nearly as rare or exclusive as the Iron Patriot minifigure.

Not pictured above: A set of heavy duty tools ready to pull the keyring from Spidey's chunky lil' head. Just me? Okay.

Amazon is simply offering $10 of Amazon credit. A little underwhelming if you ask me, but hey, who doesn't like money?

These pre order bonuses only apply to the US at the moment, no word on pre order bonuses outside of the US but they'll no doubt start to crop up sooner or later. I'll keep updating this article as more pre order bonuses are revealed (here's hoping for an exclusive Stan Lee minifigure)

Lego Marvel Superheroes is available to pre order now and the game is set to release on WiiU, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PC this Fall.

I love how Black Widow's all over everything, yet Hawkeye can't even be included in the game. [frick]ing DLC? Really. Dude gets no respect from Marvel.

I'll admit, I was a little annoyed that Hawkeye has been shafted to DLC already. I would have thought that characters like him and Thanos would be included in the game but I guess it all depends on how involved in the story they are.
