X-Men

X-Men The X-Men are a superhero team in the Marvel Comics Universe. They were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). The basic concept of the X-Men is that under a cloud of increasing anti-mutant sentiment, Professor Xavier created a haven at his Westchester mansion to train young mutants to use their powers for the benefit of humanity, and to prove mutants can be heroes. The X-Men comics have been adapted into other media, including animated television series, video games, and a commercially successful series of films.
An alternate time. An alternate world. Under the leadership of Scott Summers, the X-Men have managed to become a force of justice in the cause for mutants. However, sinister forces in the shadows seek to destroy everything they hold dear. When a mutant assassin starts to target the team in ways they struggle to counter, the X-Men must uncover the truth, or perish trying.
That's the very question Man-At-Arms try to answer in their latest production as they combine Batman's batarangs into a gauntlet very reminiscent of Wolverine's claws. The bad guys in Gotham would be going to the morgue instead of Arkham.

The Rupert Murdoch owned 21st Century Fox tried and failed today to buy Time Warner for $80 billion. That would put them in control of everything from HBO to Warner Bros. and DC Comics, so perhaps a movie featuring Superman AND Wolverine is now a possibility, especially as they plan on trying again...

Although they've had their stinkers (X: TLS, XO Wolverine, F4, F4: RotSS), the people over at 20th Century Fox can get it right (X-Men, X2, X: FC, X: DoFP). Their last film was very well received and I hope that their upcoming ones are as well.
