Another Poster For X-Men: First Class Arrives!

Another Poster For X-Men: First Class Arrives!

Check out this "new" international poster for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, this time with a different background and better look at the characters!

X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

RoscoeFolgers - 4/19/2011, 8:00 AM
Is Beast texting?
StrangerX - 4/19/2011, 8:01 AM
Xavier looks a little fem.
Wildaniel - 4/19/2011, 8:02 AM
They look GREAT!!!
Stumblin - 4/19/2011, 8:04 AM
Wow that sucks too, what happened to the Black Bird's right wing? It's just gone.
empire638 - 4/19/2011, 8:06 AM
I'm tired of everybody hating on this movie! Jeez! Why can't we just be happy that comic book movies are being made? Sure, it isn't the "first class" but at least its not another frackin Twlight movie, or eat, pray, crap or something. I don't have high expectation I'm just going in to have fun and watch a film.

@ sirprize

i agree,very lame indeed.
Stumblin - 4/19/2011, 8:10 AM
I'm not hating on the movie I'm hating on the shitty posters.
YeaOkYea - 4/19/2011, 8:11 AM
I'm excited for this movie but c'mon FOX. Who's in charge of the promotions to the film???
Bobby2889 - 4/19/2011, 8:12 AM
Also.....why is Beast wearing shoes? Why mutate his feet just to give him shoes?

Other than that very psyched
YeaOkYea - 4/19/2011, 8:13 AM
By the way in the 1st poster they're calling this film "X-Men: First Generation". Maybe FOX should've used this title for the film instead of "First Class". It would make a lot more sense seeing that Jean, Scott, & Bobby aren't in it.
StrangerX - 4/19/2011, 8:17 AM
@empire638-I just posted this on the last article. As far as the story goes it does seem interesting how they added the Cuban Missile Crisis and all. However, The look of the characters isn't really inspiring. The tone of the movie is very tv movies ish, and they screwed up the continuity really really bad. So why should I go see this again. Oh yea,, cus it's a CBM [frick] that. I rented Jonah Hex on Red Box and I still want my dollar back.
Cross - 4/19/2011, 8:20 AM
This faggot Singer just can't settle down without making someone look gay just like him. can he? TURNED XAVIER INTO A FAG!!! THIS MOVIE WILL FAIL SO HARD.
gambgel - 4/19/2011, 8:21 AM
I love this new one. Nice concept.

the Blackbird addition is great!

oh, and Emma's look is perfect.

Orphix - 4/19/2011, 8:24 AM
I like the look of the characters - the 60's vibe is cool and new for a CBM. Kind of taps into that whole silver age thing.

I gotta say tho the marketing people and whoever is designing and releasing this posters are really not doing a great job.

If you compare it to the Thor posters they just don't really come up to scratch.
ManThing - 4/19/2011, 8:24 AM
where's Azazel's tail?
SuperDude001 - 4/19/2011, 8:27 AM
A lot better than the previous ones, though it still could be better. I am liking what they've done to Beast a lot more now, though it might not look as good on screen.

BTW does anyone know what happened about that X-Men First Class poster competition from a few weeks ago?
IronicMan - 4/19/2011, 8:32 AM
This one's better.
MassExecutions - 4/19/2011, 8:33 AM
Um, Beast is wearing shoes. That doesn't make sense.
kurekurcubic - 4/19/2011, 8:37 AM
is that some huge wave behind??
BIGBMH - 4/19/2011, 8:40 AM
This poster is pretty cool. I think the standing poses work better than the walking poses though. Xavier looks awkward.
Hawksblueyes - 4/19/2011, 8:41 AM
Banshee isn't even in them. All of these posters seem extremely random.
wolverine0607 - 4/19/2011, 8:41 AM
Emma Frost looks like a pornstar and Mystique like an alien.
Tin - 4/19/2011, 8:42 AM
Kevin is James Bond, Emma very frickable indeed, and what's with their legs
CaptainAmerica - 4/19/2011, 8:43 AM
Cross, take your bigotry somewhere else please.
lmind - 4/19/2011, 8:49 AM
not bad... but its weired how some charactesr are walking, and others are just standing there
jbozz17 - 4/19/2011, 8:50 AM
I am actually really looking forward to this movie. I am a die hard X-Men fan, and I have to say I was pretty disappointed by the other films. I still loved them, but it just wasn't like the show or the comics. This looks like it could be the best one in the series in my opinion. Can't wait to see Michael Fassbender in the final Magneto costume!
HelaGood - 4/19/2011, 8:56 AM
marvel/disney REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY needs to get X-Men and Spidey back from the evil people that hold the film rights.....
theboywonder - 4/19/2011, 9:00 AM
I like the costumes. great homage to the originals
UncleDrew - 4/19/2011, 9:06 AM
BlackSands - 4/19/2011, 9:09 AM
Beast looks more like a cat here.... the only thing I liked about X3 was how they got Beast right, especially who played him.... and as much as I don't like First Class, I just hope they didn't turn Beast into something he's not...

Orphix - 4/19/2011, 9:12 AM
Though I did enjoy Kelsey Grammers performance I thought the make up looked pretty horrible.

I am glad they're going for a more CGI look in this one.
ThomYorke - 4/19/2011, 9:13 AM
@Darkmatter did you know that a thumbs down in Roman times actually meant approval :D
eleven59 - 4/19/2011, 9:14 AM
I know in 40+ years of comics for the xmen this has probably happened but I was unaware that beast's mutation had already mutated him by the 60's, reverted back to human sometime "in the near future", then mutated him back in time to for the last stand.

Or that mystique was EVER an x-man, much less from the beginning...

We hate on these movies bc they've crapped on everything that makes the characters special. Shame on anyone who would actually defend crap. Crap is what you expel from your body so it doesn't make you sick. Its waste. You don't feed on it... Oh and crap stinks, even from a distance before you even need to see it
drfate - 4/19/2011, 9:26 AM
los crap'amentadoros
VictorHugo - 4/19/2011, 9:31 AM
kurekurcubic - I don´t think it´s a wave, it´s an island.
Rodimus9 - 4/19/2011, 9:33 AM
@thegoddamnheinekenguy -in this instance, I don't think the thumb is aimed at approval.
Rodimus9 - 4/19/2011, 9:35 AM
Oh yeah, pic sucks a$$.
