Apparently Kelsey Grammar Has Shot An X-MEN: DOFP Cameo As Future 'Beast'

According to Showbiz Spy, X-Men 3's Kelsey Grammar has reprised the role of Hank McCoy/Beast for a cameo in Bryan Singer's Days Of Future Past. If true, he'll play the future version of Nicholas Hoult's character. Click on for more.

We'll have to keep this one in the rumor category for now, but word is that Kelsey Grammar has secretly shot a cameo for Bryan Singer's upcoming mutant epic, X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Showbiz Spy say that their insider has confirmed that the actor shot his scenes during post-production "on the Fox lot under the impression that Kelsey would be on set to film a pilot for a different project." It does make sense that the future version of Beast would appear, since Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are returning to play the older versions of Nicholas Hoult's First Class teammates. Grammar's take on the character is one of the few things fans seemed to like in the fairly underwhelming X-Men 3, so this news should be welcomed..if true!

Great Beast...this movie could get so [frick]in' confusing, hope it's 'smartly' made, haha
DaVinci31 - 3/18/2014, 7:19 PM
Nice, hope it's true. Loved the look of his Beast.

TheRationalNerd - 3/18/2014, 7:20 PM
I think it's just a rumor. But if true there's no doubt he'll get killed off. *takes hat off* :( lol
TheRationalNerd - 3/18/2014, 7:21 PM

What were you trying to post?
0bstreperous - 3/18/2014, 7:21 PM

SuperCat - 3/18/2014, 7:21 PM

0bstreperous - 3/18/2014, 7:23 PM
@The black nerd I thought that image was Kelsey grammer

Perhaps I'm wrong
incepshawn - 3/18/2014, 7:29 PM
I hope so. Maybe they have an intro sequence where we see some mutants killed by Sentinels.
Desrow - 3/18/2014, 7:33 PM
I liked it.
DanMcNice - 3/18/2014, 7:43 PM
Cool, I hope so!! He was great as Beast!!!!

Hoult on the other hand...
WeaponX93 - 3/18/2014, 7:44 PM
Please be true. His Beast was spot on
Maestro - 3/18/2014, 7:44 PM
Awesome. He was great.
Humperdink - 3/18/2014, 7:45 PM
Best Beast was Kelsey.

Hoult looks kind of like a cheap version of the old Werewolf.
The blue is so bright he looks cartoony and the muscles he's wearing under his shirt make him look like he padded himself. Just not natural.
Ramiel - 3/18/2014, 7:46 PM
This Beast rocks! Hoult's wannabe Hulk does not.
NostalgicYouth - 3/18/2014, 7:48 PM
Kelsey Grammers Beast, is the best Beast that has been betrayed on screen. Other versions are just to animalistic.
ALmazing - 3/18/2014, 7:48 PM
He was the only great thing about X3 IMO, I always liked this deleted scene of beast reciting Shakespeare.

Scarilian - 3/18/2014, 7:49 PM
Why is he a f*cking cameo? God damn it... every character is being messed up -___-
JamesMan - 3/18/2014, 7:52 PM
How is having a cameo messing up a character?
gac - 3/18/2014, 7:52 PM
underwhelming is not a word.
Luther - 3/18/2014, 7:54 PM
I really hope what I predicted is right!
OdinsMissingEye - 3/18/2014, 7:57 PM
These movies will never be great until they start showing the X-Men team rather than just it's leader.

I have no doubt that this movie will centralize around Hugh Jackman, Michael Fastbender, James McAvoy and everyone else will come in second best if they come in at all,

X-Men more than anything needs to be treated like Avengers where all the team are equally important as each other, they did a really good job of this in the first two movies but failed in The Last Stand and First Class and I am very sceptical about them getting the balance right in this one, as it seems it would be very difficult to do with such a large cast, hopefully I'm wrong.
marvel72 - 3/18/2014, 7:58 PM
the one thing x-men 3 got right was the beast design.
Nomis - 3/18/2014, 7:59 PM
Kelsey Grammar as the Beast is one of the FEW things right about these FoX-Men movies.

"Underwhelming is not a word"

Umm, you'll have to go tell the English language agrees with me that it very much is.
JoJo1982 - 3/18/2014, 8:01 PM
Good if true
Zuriel - 3/18/2014, 8:17 PM
I think you couldn't care less.
marvel72 - 3/18/2014, 8:17 PM
@ DrunkenNukem

are you american? i was just wondering because of the term "could care less",in the uk we say couldn't care less.

could care less, sounds like you care but you could care less if you wanted,if that make sense.
sKeemAn - 3/18/2014, 8:17 PM
Grammar was the best Beast on film. Hopefully this is true.
Zuriel - 3/18/2014, 8:23 PM
Maybe that is what this site could use more of: GRAMMAR. Oh wow did you guys get that? Never mind.
TheFox - 3/18/2014, 8:25 PM
You know, this would honestly be the coolest news I'd heard in a while... IF it turned out to be true. Grammar was one of the few shining lights in X-Men: The Last Stand, and his exclusion from Days of Future Past was the one weak spot in what was otherwise a stellar ensemble cast.

If his version of Beast actually DID show up, even for just a cameo, it would definitely rocket my excitement for this film into the stratosphere!

SuperSpiderMan5778 - 3/18/2014, 8:28 PM
YES!!! Kelsey Grammar was born to play Beast.
MoreGambit - 3/18/2014, 8:30 PM
Yes please! Kelsey Grammar's casting as Beast is the second best choice that was made for these films, after tapping Patrick Stewart to be Prof. X.
SummersEssex - 3/18/2014, 8:33 PM
Holy crap, please give him more than a cameo. Best casting for a CBM ever.
SummersEssex - 3/18/2014, 8:33 PM
@MoreGambit, sorry, you're right, Patrick Stewart was the best casting.
McGee - 3/18/2014, 8:37 PM
Hey, let's play a game. Everyone guess why this hilarious embarrassing scene was cut out of X3.

McGee - 3/18/2014, 8:38 PM
Hmm....Almight beat me to it....AND LIKED THE SCENE! :o
MisterHolmes - 3/18/2014, 8:40 PM
this is good stuff
McGee - 3/18/2014, 8:41 PM
Ror....agree is not a wor--wait, is it? Hold on...hold on.

I'm an American. Words and English no do good.
ALmazing - 3/18/2014, 8:44 PM
@McGee- I never said it was good, I'm a sucker for Shakespeare, sue me lol.
