"Logan's last months". Until the inevitable resurrection, which will occur when they get ready to release Age Of Apocalypse. Or, they'll pull a swerve and both Wolverine and Sabretooth will retire for a while. They'll use their free time to shoot a new reality show called "My Arch-Nemesis, My Roommate".

so sick of these 'deaths'. but that's inevitable with floating timeline and lack of originality. in an ideal world marvel and dc would properly retire all these beloved characters and create new ones. this way, it's only milking the cash cow, killing it, resurrecting it and the cycle goes on and on..
Gnoxorm - 7/6/2014, 4:37 AM
Retiring characters wouldn't work. They'd be brought back. That's why they do the deaths. And it works, and usually creates staple stories.

Like the rough look the artist gave Logan, not so fond of that Sabertooth up there (guy's one of my fave villains).

How cool would it be to have Liev turn up in X-Men Apocalypse?
rebellion - 7/6/2014, 4:53 AM
@Gnoxorm sure there are more than a few iconic death stories but after a while it becomes boring and redundant. IMO.
osideous - 7/6/2014, 5:10 AM
love how wolverine has a scar on his face, yet all the old man logan images ever. new and old he doesnt have the scar. gotta give to marvel for [frick]ing shit up.

He Will die forever.... Just like Sabretooth Did... Wait, he came back to.
InfiniteMonkey - 7/6/2014, 6:36 AM
Make sure he stays dead.

jimoakley666 - 7/6/2014, 6:41 AM
Marvel have really fuked up with this bullshit. Killing off (temporarily) their best character for a pathetic stunt.

Up yours, Marvel.
knighted - 7/6/2014, 6:51 AM
Lol. Too months til wolverine dies about 14 until he's back again.
InfiniteMonkey - 7/6/2014, 6:54 AM
Why wait two months.
Just kill him now and be rid of the headache.

...Make sure he stays dead.
SidDaAstroSloth - 7/6/2014, 7:39 AM
Storm is looking Whoopi Goldberg-ey
Enki - 7/6/2014, 7:39 AM
I think that killing Wolverine is Marvel's way of saying Phuck You to the Wolverine-centric FoX-Men.

But I'll be surprised if they keep him dead.

Wolverine's Last Story

.... of 2014....

Blanka1212 - 7/6/2014, 7:48 AM
That's some ugly ass art.

He has to die. If you've been following the story since issue 1, this entire storyline has been a manipulation by intelligent alien viruses from the Microverse. It's probably time to retire him for a couple of years, just so we can get a fresh take on him again.
TelaVizion - 7/6/2014, 9:22 AM
You can just see it. Death isn't really looking for him to be taken out of the rest of the game. This "Death of Wolverine" is gonna be more of a name and character change then anything.

@rabid, he won't be gone for that long.
TelaVizion - 7/6/2014, 9:24 AM
don't like the artwork for this issue.
Floke - 7/6/2014, 9:29 AM
Pff..Short abd blocky?? That doesnt look like Hugh Jackman at all.. Stay true to the source Marvel!
RetroFit - 7/6/2014, 9:43 AM
a) That Variant cover is awesome!

b) I can't wait to see someone like She-Hulk turned into Lady Wolverine after he dies. Sounds like something Joe Queseda would do...along with turning Red Skull into the new Captain America ala Superior Spider-Man...
Jokerz8Wild - 7/6/2014, 10:43 AM
Ole Edward Scissor Hands is finally biting the dust yet again eh? I hope they'll be sure to stick a pitch fork in him to be certain his goose is finally cooked well done. Alas poor Wolvy... He most definitely had some adamantium balls. *Sniff
silverhawk - 7/6/2014, 10:56 AM
Ughhh, I like wolverine but they've used him way too much in the recent years. I'm gonna miss the bub but I hope he stays dead for a long time. I'm talking like 10 to 15 years, otherwise, what's the point?
TheGreenBastard - 7/6/2014, 11:28 AM

He doesn't die.

BlindJustice - 7/6/2014, 12:33 PM
Pete Woods is a horrible artist in my opinion. DC can keep him.

We all know Wolverine won't die. I'm just curious if anyone sues Marvel for false advertisement once he cones back. Heh.
BlindJustice - 7/6/2014, 12:36 PM
Comes back* (damn phone)
deanwilkins - 7/6/2014, 1:26 PM
Just give him the healing factor back. That's all I want. And maybe some good writing too.
ColonelKilgore - 7/6/2014, 2:11 PM
If he lost his healing factor how is the adamantium not poisoning/killing him?
JoshuaDBr - 7/6/2014, 2:16 PM
I'm sorry, but I have to admit, I HATE this art. Maybe it's just not my thing, but I think it looks terrible.

I don't read Marvel comics, but I do know the characters from television shows and stuff. And I'm just curious, why does storm have a mohawk, and why is she SO UGLY?
campblood - 7/6/2014, 2:29 PM
notice how it says two months to die and not two months to live which is the common phrase
GLprime2814 - 7/6/2014, 9:25 PM
Good then maybe when he comes back he'll be pissed at the world again, cuz he was interesting because he was this guy on a superheroe team that fought for equality but he was the embodiment of what humans fear and hate about mutans.
And now he's just a teacher trying not to kill?
I remember when berserker rage meant berserker rage!
