Another Dark Phoenix article? I assume that means there will be more mental breakdowns and tantrums about the failure of the movie, more blaming MCU fans for letting Disney down and damaging the X-Men brand, and other such nonsense.

Things I found stupid about Dark Phoenix:

1. The pacing is way too fast. Jean goes from good guy to killing someone within the first 45 minutes.

2. How does Charles look so good for a guy that is canonically 60?

3. Why have the US government let Magneto off for what they thought was killing JFK?

4. How are Mutant collars around in 1992? In Deadpool 2 they made it seem like a recent invention.

5. Are the US government just going to let everyone off after they destroyed a prison transport? How did the X-Men escape jail? How did they even get home?

6. Why does Jean just disappear at the end? If she’s alive why hasn’t she come back. We know she has to by 2014 because of DOFP.

7. Speaking of which, doesn’t the film break canon? How is Charles retired when he works at the school in 2014? And Beast isn’t in charge in 2014 either?

8. Why did they let Jean leave the school? Shouldn’t she have been placed in medical observation after her collapse? And how did she get to her Dad’s house? Did she take a bus?

9. If she took the bus how the hell did she beat the X-Men there? They have a freaking jet.

10. Why does Eric change his mind about killing Jean? Was there any real reason for him to? Other than Charles saying it’s all his fault on the prison train.

11. Why does Nightcrawler care so much about the death of a random prison train guard when others were killed and he didn’t seem to care?

12. Quicksilver doesn’t get a great walkman running scene like in the last 2 films. What makes this worse is that we won’t be seeing Quicksilver again on film for probably decades.
