Hugh Jackman Wins "Empire Icon" At Jameson Empire Awards

Hugh Jackman Wins "Empire Icon" At Jameson Empire Awards

Of course Jackman has played a number of memorable roles over the years, but there's no doubt that he's best known for portraying Wolverine -- which he will do so for a record setting seventh time in X-Men: DOFP. A well deserved award indeed. See the full list of winners after the jump.

There were no "pure" CBMs in contention for any awards last night, but the likes of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug and Gravity did pretty well. Below you can check out Hugh Jackman's acceptance speech, along with the full list of winners (in bold) and nominees.
