How many clips, trailers, and promos have been released for this movie already? Heck I am left feeling as if I already watched the whole movie.
yossarian - 5/8/2014, 8:55 AM
What's the weird sound after the clip?
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 8:55 AM
a case of the TASM2s?
ThedamnBatman - 5/8/2014, 8:55 AM
I have faith in this movie

Its going to suck xD

I'm really liking what I'm seeing , I think a great thing about these new x-men movies, besides the action and mutant powers, is that they've become period pieces that I embed mutants within actual human history. It's different, somewhat fresh, from what other comic book franchises are doing. Can't wait to see this.
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:04 AM
@ themidnightking

LOL! Do not fear I will be first in line to see this movie.........
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:08 AM

agree man. aside from Cap:TFA, no other CBMs really touch on period settings. I can only think of Alan Moore adaptations as other examples.

next one in the 80s too should be good.
Bekss - 5/8/2014, 9:08 AM
this is absolutely nothing like ASM2. They haven't tell us what is this about or who's really the important character.
Every trailer feels like another movie from the last trailer.
And it feels like is too much because they release stills almost everyday.
themidnightking - 5/8/2014, 9:09 AM
Me too
brazilianbatman - 5/8/2014, 9:10 AM
I am getting pumped for this movie. with themes about fixing the wrongs from the past in the movie line rhymes with fixing the wrongs of the series.

I think 2014 is going to better than 2013 for cbm.

I loved the Captai nAmerica 2, I liked The Amazing Spiderman 2(loved the end) and I am anticipating that this X-men could be as good as Captain America 2 if this is really the best Xmen movie to date like they are saying.
Guardians of The Galaxy should be decent at least.
MercwithMouth - 5/8/2014, 9:13 AM
I remember 2 months ago when everyone was whining that there was no trailer, no footage, and people thought the marketing was failing. Seems things have turned the corner to the TASM2 complaints. Not surprising. My suggestion, have the will power not to watch. Me, I'm soaking up all the beauty of these clips...
MercwithMouth - 5/8/2014, 9:16 AM
It's so awesome seeing 3 amazing stage actors on screen. Stewart, McKellan, and Jackman are pure class, no matter the movie.
KallarkKent - 5/8/2014, 9:16 AM
@Doopie - I was actually thinking the same thing, these x-men films like the intro sequence for Watchmen in a way. Apocalypse in the 80s should be interesting for sure.
TChalla - 5/8/2014, 9:17 AM
Wait a sec just about a month ago you guys were like "Promotion for X-Men: Days of Future past is bad!" "How about a new trailer?" "Same character poster?"

Now they give you a boatload of new stuff and you all are complaining? Smh, that's a CBM'er for ya..
TChalla - 5/8/2014, 9:18 AM
@Merc Thank you! You saw that too! lol
CherryBomb - 5/8/2014, 9:18 AM

Do they want TASM2 style of promotion? - they're giving us just enough material at the right time.
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:18 AM
guys chill out. i think only the first comment says there's been too much footage and i'm pretty sure Joe was joking. were you Joe?
McNyagano - 5/8/2014, 9:19 AM
4 days left for me;)
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:20 AM

How??? I want to watch it then too
TChalla - 5/8/2014, 9:24 AM
Joking?? So he had me, Merc, and Cherry preach for no reason?

Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:27 AM
maybe? two things you can guarantee about is complaints and preaching. it's what the internet is made for right?
McNyagano - 5/8/2014, 9:27 AM

Press screening;)
MercwithMouth - 5/8/2014, 9:30 AM

No worries. Joe's not normally the serious type. And he's good shit. It's more of a preemptive thing. There are idiots that will see what Joe wrote, and jump on that bandwagon, throwing out claims of too much footage, and whining that it's TASM2 all over again, when clearly, we've seen very little of the story. Just some big set pieces, and a few good character moments.
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:31 AM

how do you get in to those things? do you work for a magazine or something? or just got the connections?
MercwithMouth - 5/8/2014, 9:31 AM

I think I hate you more everyday! Lucky
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:34 AM

that is very true!
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:40 AM
I laugh at all the people who bitch on this site over movies etc.......yet we all know that they will be first in line to see these movies. Just like the mob that has all the pitchforks and torches concerning F4, yet we all know that we will all go check out that movie when it comes out.

People on this site will bitch about anything due to opinions and egos.........
McNyagano - 5/8/2014, 9:44 AM

I've got connections duh. Also the theatre I used to work in hosts most press screenings for films, so lucky me;)
DonaldBlake68 - 5/8/2014, 9:47 AM
It seems like all the trailers and clips show the same scenes just different parts and extended versions. I think they are doing a great job advertising and promoting this film. If it truly is as good as The Winter Soldier, hell, if its as good as the first X-Men i'll be happy. But lets be honest, if the reviews end up being bad and Rotten Tomatoes has it at 60%, I will still see it and there is no way that it can be any worse than The Amazing Spiderman 2.
Doopie - 5/8/2014, 9:48 AM

you lucky devil!
JoeMomma29 - 5/8/2014, 9:50 AM
@ DonaldBlake

Do you really rely on what Rotten Tomatoes to see a movie? Heck I am a comic book, tv, movie, video game, and animation fan. So personally I will watch anything a few times to support the genre if possible.

Heck I am one of the few on this site that actually enjoyed Elektra.........
ComicsBornAndBred - 5/8/2014, 9:51 AM
RetroFit - 5/8/2014, 9:58 AM
There's only 1 thing I know about this movie. Even if it sucks, it will STILL be better than X3 and Wolverine:Origins.
mitchybaby - 5/8/2014, 9:58 AM
how much screen time does the future get?
Gusto - 5/8/2014, 10:00 AM
Nomis has been wearing his 3-D glasses all week.

DonaldBlake68 - 5/8/2014, 10:04 AM
@ JoeMomma

I always look at Rotten Tomatoes and it has swayed my judgment in the past concerning other movies. With Comic Book Movies I see all of them, but I like to get an idea. Plus if its positive it helps me talk my wife into going. She likes X-Men and Ironman and Thor, she could give two shits about any other comic book property. So when I showed her how well Cap 2 was doing, we saw it and she loved it.
Gusto - 5/8/2014, 10:04 AM
Yeah...I recycle jokes.
So sue me!
