@MiKi - Deserves all the pennies.

I only wish FOX took the leash off the creative team behind the Wolverine films a lot earlier and not at the end of Jackman's run but at least he went out on a very high note.

great numbers but the competition this month is insane. Kong will be the new No.1 this week & beauty the other week as well

@HugoStiglitz - I honestly think Kong will come up short, Beauty however will dominate

@stephhurry - If Beauty gets banned if in some countries for the gay stuff it won't dominate. Russian leaders want to ban it, and if Russia does, China can't be far behind. China's market loss will take a big chunk outta the box office returns.
2050

@HugoStiglitz - yep, it likely won't be number one at the box office weekend again, but it'll rake in the cash. It'll likely hit at least $500m WW by the time it's done, which is amazing for a $97m investment on an R rated movie. Even more important are the non-tangibles like giving the X-men franchise further interest in future movies.

@HugoStiglitz - Sadly I don't think Kong will win the weekend domestically but overseas will be a whole different ball game.

@HugoStiglitz - Flocks will flock to see "Beauty and the Beast", but i think KING KONG will flop hard.

Nah.
Get a new actor. Maybe do a soft reboot of the who universe, say keeping the ones from the new series and don't bother getting into why they are so young.

@Mankzin2 - Nah, dont want another 1st class reboot. Just continue with the current xmen and universe. Dont want a shitty reboot just to please fans who want costumes and fun. Wolverine should stay retired, till the universe can learn to move forward without him.
