POLL: Who Do You Think Should Play 'Cyclops'/'Jean Grey' In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE?
Both last year and last night has seen a number of candidates mentioned as being in the running to play the younger versions of Scott Summers/Cyclops and Jean Grey in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. Of those listed so far, who would you most like to see as the iconic duo?
Cyclops and Jean Grey are two of the most iconic X-Men of all-time, but they never really got the big screen treatment they deserved in the original trilogy. That's what makes X-Men: Apocalypse so exciting; writer Simon Kinberg and director Bryan Singer finally have a chance to make up for past mistakes! Last year, a shortlist emerged which revealed that Ben Hardy (Eastenders), Charlie Rowe (Red Band Society) and Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar) were all being considered for Cyclops. Last night, we discovered that Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Jamie Blackley (If I Stay), and Tye Sheridan (Mud) might just be the favourites, with the latter possibly a frontunner.
On the Jean Grey front, Elle Fanning (Maleficent), Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit), Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) and Saoirse Ronan (Hanna) may be in the running.
