actually made me interested in storm which is odd
SimyJo - 5/14/2014, 5:09 AM
Sorry Halle...... just not feelin' it. Time for a recasting.
CherryBomb - 5/14/2014, 5:20 AM
Storm is going to be BAD ASS in this movie.

Halle Berry definitely isn't the African weather witch we're used to, but she is good for what the role requires. She has a very "mother earth" feel to her and her voice that I like.

But yeah, LUPITA NYONG'O for Storm.
SmokinIndo - 5/14/2014, 5:23 AM
looks like shes gonna have but one scene in the whole movie
KrazyForKomix - 5/14/2014, 5:30 AM
I'm hoping that part of the fallout from the events in this film will be a simplification of all of Singer's inconsistencies, and a byproduct of that linear realignment will be some recastings – MOST NOTABLY – Storm.
InfiniteMonkey - 5/14/2014, 5:31 AM
Can't wait till they recast her.
Make her more of a leader and a badass.
Dinotron - 5/14/2014, 5:32 AM
So does she have just one scene?? I guess with so many characters that's really the best you can do
CherryBomb - 5/14/2014, 5:33 AM
Well they won't recast, more-so, just hire a younger actor like they're probably going to do with Jean and Storm.
CherryBomb - 5/14/2014, 5:33 AM

From what I've heard I think she has two scenes. One big one and a smaller one.
SuperCat - 5/14/2014, 5:35 AM
Storm. Yay.

AsgardianHobo - 5/14/2014, 5:36 AM
If they made her badass in the past films I would dig this idea.......but they didn't.

Will still be there opening day, but possibly intoxicated to lessen the blow
Comicbookguy543 - 5/14/2014, 5:36 AM
I was dissapointed with how little screentime she had, they could of done so much with her powers but its just basically her using lightning and floating around...I was thinking **SPOILERS** after she got impaled by the Sentinel that this gives us a chance to get a Storm recast but at the end with Cyclops,Jean Grey and Kelsey Grammers Beast appearing at the end, it seems like X-Men Apocalypse will be with the original cast!
AsgardianHobo - 5/14/2014, 5:40 AM

If you are messing with me, I know ppl that can hurt you!!! :P So, I'm guessing you liked the movie?
AsgardianHobo - 5/14/2014, 5:41 AM
I want to believe you!
Comicbookguy543 - 5/14/2014, 5:46 AM
Yeah it was really good, probably the best so far!! :D It leaves alot open for future films, so they could decide to go either way with Apocalypse!
AsgardianHobo - 5/14/2014, 5:55 AM
Hey, you got me interested and looking forward to this. To be honest, I thought First Class was mediocre while so many others saw it as groundbreaking somehow. But this has a whole other feel to it! Will be there opening day with diapers on just in case!!!
BrokenMachines - 5/14/2014, 6:10 AM
Give me Mohawk Storm now! With a new actress of course.
Ineedrevelation - 5/14/2014, 6:10 AM
Still hate Halley and I want to recast but I'm glad she looks more powerful in this one.

All of them do actually.
Demongod20 - 5/14/2014, 6:20 AM
I have a feeling that this movie is gonna be decent but only make around 600/700 mil. The only problem is they spent 300 mil to make it and if it doesn't hit bigger numbers fox will consider it a financial failure.

Who really knows I could be wrong and this movie makes a billion at the box office.
OdinsMissingEye - 5/14/2014, 6:21 AM
So whats the deal with Beast, has he learnt a new ability that allows him to change between human form and Beast form?

Is this so Hoult gets to show his pretty face to the camera, are they doing the same thing like they do with taking Spidermans mask off mid fight or how in F42 Ben Grimm needed to lose his powers for a short time so we get a look at the actors.

I hate how they do these things to support the actors ego, I bet the agents put it in all their contracts to please all their little teenage fans or something stupid.

MrFridayNights - 5/14/2014, 6:23 AM
X-Men DOFP has 94% on RT!!!!!!!
XelCorp - 5/14/2014, 6:34 AM
@Comicbookguy543- Original cast? So the previous actor who played cyclops is back? Or Is it a younger version of Cyclops?
Foxkids - 5/14/2014, 6:39 AM
Worst strom ever never like what they did with her but the effects look good
Comicbookguy543 - 5/14/2014, 6:41 AM
@Marvel1997 **SPOILERS** James Marsden :)basically by the end of the film all of the 3 previous X-Men films have been erased, but Wolverine seems to remember everything, Jean is also there and alive :)
Comicbookguy543 - 5/14/2014, 6:46 AM
But I saw this awhile back so it could of been cut or changed but I doubt it because it was a pretty major part to the ending!
McNyagano - 5/14/2014, 6:50 AM
And I was being accused of posting spoilers but whatever. Anyways she was under utilised IMO, I dunno whether it had to do with Halle being pregnant at the time or the fact that Singer doesnt understand the character. Storm doesn't even fly around in this movie, she only levitates a few feet of the ground-.-
charlie2094 - 5/14/2014, 6:57 AM
Eh, looks cool, but never really liked her character in any of the films
McGee - 5/14/2014, 6:59 AM
After watching Monster's Ball...I bet she's a storm in the sack. My goodness. Mmm.
Demongod20 - 5/14/2014, 7:03 AM
I'm holding off on this one. If the movie gets good reviews and my friends say they like it then I'll go see it on week 2.
Berserker187 - 5/14/2014, 7:09 AM
Is beast morph?
Gusto - 5/14/2014, 7:12 AM
I'm looking forward to this about as
much as I am McGee & Yoss' kissing
booth at the Yanker County Fair.

yossarian - 5/14/2014, 7:17 AM
So you are really [frick]ing excited about it?
CherryBomb - 5/14/2014, 7:17 AM

She was pregnant so they couldn't have her flying around like they originally wanted.
Demongod20 - 5/14/2014, 7:20 AM
@ CherryBomb

Facial CGI and Stunt double could have solved that. That's what Whedon is doing with Scarlet in the Avengers Age of Ultron.
McGee - 5/14/2014, 7:22 AM
As always... I'll be giving handies behind the Haunted House ride. I can't give anything else because of open sores.
pepe - 5/14/2014, 7:23 AM
When is Singer geting his own spot?
yossarian - 5/14/2014, 7:26 AM
McGee's handies are awful. He just...mushes it.
Newbus - 5/14/2014, 7:32 AM
OdinsMissingEye - "So whats the deal with Beast, has he learnt a new ability that allows him to change between human form and Beast form?"

Haven't seen the film but he takes another serum the result of the which turns him normal but the side effect is that when he gets angry he turns into Beast. But doesn't explain why Kelsey Grammer looks like Beast permanently.

Xavier takes a serum that allows him to walk but nullifies his powers. Seems like Beast unwittingly created a cure before the events of X3.
Vaportrail - 5/14/2014, 7:33 AM
Wow, yeah. She has exactly one scene in this film, doesn't she.
Gusto - 5/14/2014, 7:41 AM
He just goes through the motions, whereas
Batz really throws himself into the handy.
