TesDaGreat - 5/22/2013, 12:22 PM
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 12:23 PM
@Obi: If I had gotten something like that with a mask i'd be going to see "The Logan" in theaters.
TheClemster - 5/22/2013, 12:26 PM
Gusto you are so gonna be abducted by the CIA with comments like that lol
TheWolverine08 - 5/22/2013, 12:26 PM
Man, Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine! No one can do it better! Respect!
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 12:28 PM
No one can do it better? No one has been given the chance to try so how would you know? I'm tried of this damn near 7 foot tall wannabe Wolverine.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 12:33 PM
@Nomis: Yea, I mean no disrespect to Jackman, I'm just ready for this bad dream which is the Fox-men to be over I swear.
GodzillaKart - 5/22/2013, 12:34 PM
@sephiroth211: Word.

Jackman has given this role his all, and has done as good a job as possible. The fact is Wolverine being short is an INTEGRAL part of the character. Hope they fix that when the character is recast.

It's no secret that I think Bale (a great actor) was a terrible choice for Batman. Ironically, I think Jackman would have been great in that role.
deamon - 5/22/2013, 12:36 PM
Movie Wolverine just doesn't fit to yellow costume.
TheClemster - 5/22/2013, 12:37 PM
so right Nomis

I watched all the X Men movies and the first thought was why is Wolverine so tall and keeps crying????
xinstituto - 5/22/2013, 12:39 PM
deamon, I agree
CaptainAmerica - 5/22/2013, 12:40 PM
Whhhaaaa he's too tall WHAAAA he shows too much emotion. Lmao [frick]ing whiny fan girls.
TheClemster - 5/22/2013, 12:41 PM
haaaa we have a new champ here

Ladies and Gentlemen here comes CaptainAmerica the Wise
TheWolverine08 - 5/22/2013, 12:42 PM
@sephiroth11 I never really cared about the height, could he be shorter yes, but it really is a nitppick. He throws himself into Wolverine and trains incredibly hard for it which is why I call him the best. He plays a great Wolverine in a bad Fox X Men franchise. Which kind of wastes his effort.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 12:43 PM
WHHAAA I hate hearing other people opinions WHAAAA why can't everyone think and feel like me. Cause we aren't sheep dude.
exe - 5/22/2013, 12:45 PM
I'm tired of this shit. If the reviews are good, then I'm seeing it.
TesDaGreat - 5/22/2013, 12:45 PM
If Mel Gibson was younger, he would have been the perfect wolverine!
PsyGuy - 5/22/2013, 12:45 PM
Looks great!!
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 12:46 PM
@TheWolverine08: Indeed, that's why I said I'm tired of the Fox-men. You have this guy giving his all when the directors, costume designers, and writers aren't doing the same. It sucks for Jackman, but I'm sure he will do alright without this character.
TheClemster - 5/22/2013, 12:51 PM

you know what bro I will let you write the comments from now on because you and I on this topic are on the same page.

Hey Jackman we still love you man ;)(you never know he might be reading)
TheClemster - 5/22/2013, 12:52 PM
@ Gusto = man LMAO

I am in stitches, thank you sir you just made my afternoon with this one.
thewolfx - 5/22/2013, 12:58 PM
You height bitchers never cease do you

Nobody complains about rdj

The man said if he could be a foot shorter he would be , but good cameramen can make him seem shorter just like they did in x 1 when logan grabed cycs
Cass808 - 5/22/2013, 1:01 PM
Cant see how people are so desperate for Hugh Jackman to be ditched, think hes a great actor and a great Wolverine.

I think whats been missing from wolverine is that more feral and dangerous aspect of the character. but this is something more to do with directors as well i think.
Ramiel - 5/22/2013, 1:05 PM
People cry about Jackman being too tall to play Wolverine, yet applaud whenever a black actor plays a white hero/villain. Be consistent!
EastcoastAvenger - 5/22/2013, 1:06 PM
That pic does NOT show the "full berzerker mode" of the Wolverine readers of this site know and love.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:07 PM
It's not just about height man...god in heaven don't you people understand that by now? When Logan first came to Prof X he was an animal man....not this well put together pretty boy. The mark has been missed with Wolverine from the beginning. He should have been a feral man in X-men 1 and by this time he should have evolved into the Logan he is now. It's called character development...and this franchise has had none since the beginning.
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2013, 1:07 PM
sephiroth, if The Wolverine gets a better RT rating than Iron Man 3's 78 then it'll be the second time in as many tries that Fox and Marvel studios have put Marvel properties against each other in the same year and Fox has come out with the better product (critically.) Not much of a bad dream I guess;)
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:08 PM
Wow, and then a racist pops outta nowhere. Where in the heck does race play into this converstaion?
0ptimusCrime - 5/22/2013, 1:09 PM
Im with TheHeat
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:12 PM
Dude, what the hell are you talking about? Does money make a good film? Does a RT score determine how I feel about a franchise? NO. I feel this way about this franchise...does that say you have to? I'm not a sheepman people. I have my own thought's and desires. I want to see a certain thing appear on I wrong for wanting to finally see the feral Wolverine that I have been reading about for more then 20 years? You guys need to get off your high horses and remember everyone doesn't think like you.
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2013, 1:12 PM
How is race relevant here?
0ptimusCrime - 5/22/2013, 1:12 PM
Seph...he has a point.

The only reason he uses this example is because of the source related issue
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 5/22/2013, 1:13 PM
I'm with the shorter crowd. That's one of the reasons they're going for the huge silver samurai suit/armor/robot because Jackman is so much taller than the guy who plays SilverSam. It'd look ridiculous otherwise.

I'm for Tom Hardy giving the role a try.
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2013, 1:13 PM
sephiroth, never said it had anything to do with you and your thoughts, just a fact my friend.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:14 PM
I'm not talking about race so you can drop that right now.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:14 PM
Again, that fact has nothing to do with me so I don't know why you brought it up.
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2013, 1:17 PM
All Fox wanted was an up and coming movie star in the role of Wolverine and thats what they got. Not the perfect fit for his comic book counterpart but a pretty iconic take by Jackman for sure. I mean, there have been MUCH bigger liberties taken with Marvel characters in films made by Marvel themselves!
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2013, 1:18 PM
I didn't know we were only talking about things that revolved around you sephiroth.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:21 PM
Whatever you say homie...whatever you say. Doesn't change anything i've been saying. As long as people that are on the same wavelength as me understand where I'm coming from i'm cool.
sephiroth211 - 5/22/2013, 1:25 PM
@Nomis: Dude, we read comics...we know how this was supposed to play out. It's these movie loving folks that have no clue. Maybe they would if they turned off their televisions and picked up a book.
