In this exclusive clip given to us by FOX, Hiroyuki Sanada discusses his fight scene and we get a glimpse into Hugh's preparations in sword to claw combat.

The Wolverine Blu-ray/DVD will be in stores December 3rd, 2013.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.

Probably was the best. Really hate the 3rd act though...

1.) Wolverine

2.) Thor: The Dark World

3.) Man of Steel

4.) Kick-Ass 2

5.) Iron Man 3
Brainiac13 - 11/27/2013, 12:19 PM

Nice exclusive cbm....Hugh is jacked man!
LOL - 11/27/2013, 12:22 PM
Before anyone nitpicks on Hugh's rather slim legs, it's genetics. I've seen some really buff upper-body dudes in the gym, yet try as they might, their legs are hit or miss no matter how much they train them up. Some of you saw how hard he buffed up to be Wolverine in most of the films with the character, so some vids may have included a full body workout, yet not much marked improvement on the legs. It's pretty much genetics, as explained by a trainer friend of mine.
EpitomeofAwesome - 11/27/2013, 12:23 PM
Second best of the year, behind Thor TDW
ezio619 - 11/27/2013, 12:25 PM

Can't see anyone else replacing him...when they reboot the series.
ezio619 - 11/27/2013, 12:27 PM
my predicting rankings before this year were:
1.Man of Steel
2.Iron man 3
3.Thor The Dark World
4.The Wolverine
My actual rankings(all were flawed but good-great films films imo ,their strengths outweighed their weaknesses for me,the ranking is in terms of how engaged i was in the film)
1.The Wolverine(great)
2.Man of Steel( Really good)
3.Iron Man 3(solid)
4.Thor The Dark World(good)

Got till next Monday to wait...busy with work so time will fly.
InfiniteMonkey - 11/27/2013, 12:39 PM
Wolverine would be more menacing with a costume on...Fox.
McNyagano - 11/27/2013, 12:43 PM
Great movie up until the 3rd act. 8/10
Pasto - 11/27/2013, 12:56 PM
The training these actors go through for these roles is extensive and severe. But the pay off is always good.
TheRationalNerd - 11/27/2013, 12:59 PM
Sao will this content be apart of the Blu-Ray Extended Cut release??
TheRationalNerd - 11/27/2013, 1:01 PM

And I can't wait for the sequel! Where do you all think the sequel will go? 70's - 80's "accurate version of Weapon X", (during the two years Yukio and Wolverine were traveling?), Daken, or X-23 (return of weapon X) ??
SuperCat - 11/27/2013, 1:12 PM
Blu-ray should have came out yesterday in time for Thanksgiving.
lntrn8 - 11/27/2013, 1:16 PM

unknownguy - 11/27/2013, 1:18 PM
I fell asleep during that.
MrChuff - 11/27/2013, 1:22 PM
Extended cut all the way. Love it....Isn't perfect but not many films are.
phenomenon313 - 11/27/2013, 1:26 PM
I enjoyed the extended version way more than the theatrical version, but I am not a fan of the fight choreography overall. Wolverine is not as stiff as he is on screen. Jackman has been portraying this upright leading man, and I think it misses the mark. There are elements in Snyder's Rorschach that worked better. I know it's PG-13, but Wolverine wouldn't stroll through the middle of some Japanese street waiting for ninja arrows in his back. He is way more tactical than they show him to be. I hope they bring that out in the next one.
breakUbatman - 11/27/2013, 1:35 PM
These guys put in work. I was shocked at how much Cavill wighed as Superman though (
92 kg to my 90), really thought he'd be heavier.

But then again I'm overweight at the moment so what do I know.
konoyaro - 11/27/2013, 1:48 PM
such a waste of a great story and set of characters.
lord shingen? dead and he turns into ROBOCOP??UPS i mean silver samurai?????
silver samurai?? dead and he was just a normal man??????
wolverine cry cry cry AGAIN and get his ass kicked by ninjas riding bikes and a bunch of little fat mafia dudes.
the only good thing about this movie was how they portraited mariko and yukio and yes this was CBM FOX ever made which just shows how bad they are at doing it.
Jackman is a cool dude but painfully obvious that he dont understand wolverine and he will keep sucking the life of the character to make ease money.
konoyaro - 11/27/2013, 1:51 PM
the best CBM fox ever maded...

failed rant
TheWolverine08 - 11/27/2013, 1:55 PM
Jackman's got that dedication!
Enphlieuwince - 11/27/2013, 2:17 PM
Damn right, @Wolvie! Jackman's passion, old Professor X Stewart, young Magneto Fassbender, and the slight chance of seeing J Law naked are the only things that keep me from giving up on this franchise.
TheWolverine08 - 11/27/2013, 2:26 PM
Seeing J Law naked gives us all hope crusty :D
GranGoose - 11/27/2013, 2:39 PM
Jackman has signed for 50 Wolverine's films with Fox and 10 cloning procedures.
Enphlieuwince - 11/27/2013, 2:40 PM

goldilocks - 11/27/2013, 2:48 PM
Thought it was the best CBM of 2013 also. Man of Steel and Kick Ass 2 were decent and deserves mention. The other two (Iron Man 3 and Thor 2) do not!
deamon - 11/27/2013, 3:15 PM
Definitely CBM of 2013.
Kyos - 11/27/2013, 4:10 PM
Much to my surprise I have to agree that The Wolverine Extended Cut (never watched the theatrical version) probably will end up being my favourite in this year of promising, but flawed superhero movies.

Then again, actually, after having seen all of the big 4 now I'm not really sure I can properly rank them anymore. Each had some major flaws that prevented me from loving it, but I enjoyed them all quite a lot.

Before finally watching Wolverine I'd have guessed the final order would probably look like this:

1. Thor TDW
2. Man of Steel
3. The Wolverine
4. Iron Man 3

Now I say "[frick] it"! I'd probably still put Iron Man 3 at the lowest, though it's been the longest since I've seen it so even that might change. But between the other three, I honestly can't say. Each had amazing parts as well as parts I really didn't like.

Here's hoping that at least one of the 2014 superhero movies will completely satisfy and impress me! :D
jcfrommars9 - 11/27/2013, 4:21 PM
1. Thor: The Dark World
2. The Wolverine (Extended/Unrated Cut) - Very impressive cut.
3. Iron Man 3
4. Man of Steel
paulyd3 - 11/27/2013, 5:37 PM
Seriously , how can any respectable iron man comic reader have the shitfest that is IM3 in their top five list for anything. I rather see catwoman a hundred times over at least there is a hot a$$ sweet lady in that movie

burn in hell IM3
