More Photos From The Set Of THE WOLVERINE Featuring Hugh Jackman & Ninjas

Hugh Jackman was spotted filming scenes for James Mangold's The Wolverine in which the actor leaped upon the roof of a yellow snow plow. His claws were unleashed as a group of ninjas attacked him from above and below. Hit the jump to check it out.

We saw several photos from this scene just yesterday, but today The Australian uploaded a photo gallery with even more images for you to look at and enjoy. In these new images we can clearly see that the star, Hugh Jackman, is wearing a harness to help give him that super-human leaping ability during the scrummage.

The set is incredibly impressive, a Japanese Village draped in snow that was built at the Olympic Park parking lot in western Sydney (Homebush).

shit movie
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/2/2012, 9:00 PM
Man, I'm still waiting on a suit for Wolvie, here. Buuut I guess they're probably keeping that on a down low (if they do have a suit for him to wear in this film). Still, Jackman looks great, and I am happy to see Logan going up against ninjas here.

Stay EPIC, my friends!

TheGambitFreak - 11/2/2012, 9:47 PM
@TheRealRemyLebeau YES! That's what me and @Gambit89 Have been screaming for all along!!!!!!! I hope Fox doesn't water this film down and make it PG-13, if Wolverine is to get any respect back from the Fans, it's through berserker violence!!

"Did he just say making [frick]?"
jimpinto24 - 11/2/2012, 10:04 PM
Looking forward to seeing The Wolverine trailer soon.
pud333 - 11/2/2012, 10:36 PM
I like how well the Ninjas blend in with the snow. I guess Ninja outfits don't come in white...
OnLeatherWings - 11/2/2012, 11:17 PM
Real claws!!!!! That already makes it 100 times better then origins
JorLBola - 11/2/2012, 11:22 PM

SuperSpiderMan5778 - 11/2/2012, 11:35 PM

sameoldthing - 11/2/2012, 11:37 PM suit but he is wearing all brown like in the Claremont/Miller series.
Bane2099 - 11/3/2012, 12:46 AM
My god they are using practical claws instead of CGI for that shot...AWESOME :D
Fless22 - 11/3/2012, 12:48 AM
Thank god. Actual wire work and not a bunch of pointless cgi.
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 11/3/2012, 1:39 AM
I wish we had a shorter, hairier, meaner Wolverine!:(
AlexDeLarge87 - 11/3/2012, 3:04 AM
Bring on loose limbs.

I mean [frick] if there isnt limbs flying in this film. I say whats the point in claws and Ninja swords then?
Daken - 11/3/2012, 3:34 AM
@SuperJoe: "Shit movie"? Yeah, you can so judge it because it's so already running in the theatres. *rollseyes*
CoolantTech - 11/3/2012, 4:21 AM
Man I can't wait for this, my most anticipated CBM movie of 2013 along side TDW
FOOM - 11/3/2012, 4:49 AM
Better see that trademark Wolverine costume or I'm writing Stan.
FOOM - 11/3/2012, 5:07 AM

Totally agree. Let's hope it happens sometime before we die.
InFamouslyCool - 11/3/2012, 5:30 AM
no faith in this being good, but hope it will.
Greggmcg - 11/3/2012, 6:24 AM
Wolverine fightin' ninjas? I'll watch that. Hope it's good. I can't count how many times I've read that Claremont/Miller story. One of my favorite comics. I'm gonna have to dig out the trade and give it another read soon.
mgeoff88 - 11/3/2012, 7:19 AM
THANK YOU! No more CG claws! That bugged the hell out of me in XMO: Wolverine... well, actually a lot of things about that movie bugged the hell out of me. :P

I have a strong feeling we get to see the Wolverine we've all been wanting to see in this movie.
Fogs - 11/3/2012, 7:21 AM
@FriendlyJoShFest - lol
marvel72 - 11/3/2012, 8:13 AM
can't wait to see the trailer could well be the best x-related movie since x-men 2.
pointman - 11/3/2012, 8:30 AM
I wonder if mr. "best there is at what I do" wont get his butt handed to him by everyone he comes across, only to win by luck at the end of the battle in this one.
ieatlegos - 11/3/2012, 9:08 AM
I'm just happy he has his claws out in almost every shot that we've seen. I'm sick of him not fighting enough, giving him a hero shot all 3 times he cuts loose in a movie, and making his fight scenes totally one-sided. His (like most comic character) costume is a little cheesy for live action, it would never look as good as it did in the comics. The original X-Men trilogy had good costumes, but they were 1000x more subtle than anything in the comics. I don't mind him in street clothes. Besides, he isn't a part of the X-Men in this film, presumably.
jimoakley666 - 11/3/2012, 9:24 AM
Ace. Very much looking forward to this.
continuezero - 11/3/2012, 9:27 AM

Good to see other Gambit fans here. After what is going to be 7 X Men movies pretty soon he has been pretty much non existent, completely overlooked and utterly underused.

I figure a creative way they can do Wolverine's classic brown suit is to make it his samurai outfit.

That's probably what's gonna happen.
AztecRainGod - 11/3/2012, 7:54 PM
I have no hope for this flick after the shit pie known as Wolverine:Origins was served up.
AztecRainGod - 11/3/2012, 7:54 PM
10 bucks says the Silver Samurai whips Logans ass at least once in this movie
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 11/4/2012, 9:39 AM
Wolverine in the movies wants to be a tough bad ass but ends up being a pushover that gets his ass beat through most of the movie and some how gets lucky with help from someone and wins in the end. The wolverine I would love to see would be short an asshole and an ass kicker that rarely gets his ass beat. I'm tired of the underdog type heroes that get beat and beat and beat till the end of the movie. Lets have an ass kicking hero for once.
claws71 - 11/4/2012, 1:13 PM
I like Jackman but they should use someone else and if Marvel was doing it we would see the suit.
claws71 - 11/4/2012, 1:27 PM
The movie they should do is Oldman Logan and get Mel Gibson to play him.
