CherryBomb - 8/7/2014, 1:33 AM
There's so much about this movie I NEED to know.
I don't think I'm more excited for an upcoming CBM than this one!

Apocalypse is BAD-ASS

loved DOFP! Hopefully Bryan is laying off the assholes of teenage boys by now.
dethpillow - 8/7/2014, 1:58 AM
@MrCBM56 - exactly. this is the last one, and they earned it with DOFP,
however much i didn't entirely like it almost at all.

but they earned it. and hats off to that.

but after Apocalypse, well it's time to make an X-Men movie I think.
maybe Magneto could not be in it?
maybe just once in our goddam lives that could happen.
and maybe Mystique could not be in it. why does she need to be in it?
it'll all be over, and done with.

and maybe Prof X would stay at the mansion, like where he belongs and send out the X-Men to do something rad.

and it would just be about the goddam X-Men,
and not Charles
and not Eric
and not Raven
and not Logan.

it will actually be about the X-Men. maybe that could happen for once.
dethpillow - 8/7/2014, 2:09 AM
X-Men 1 and X-Men 3, and kinda First Class were the closest things to X-Men movies.

they were all wrong at it tho in their own ways.

but out of 5 X-Men films, how many of them have involved Magneto?

that's how many. every one of them.

that's just crazy. the only one he kinda took a backseat in was X-Men 2. but everything given up by the usual Magneto space, was taken up by Wolverine.

i actually appreciate Magneto in that movie most becuz of this, i think. and First Class.

but 5 X-Men movies.
5 Magnetos showing up.

we can make it 6 for 6, but after that,
things should have to change.

no more of that. if it gets to 7 X-Men films and 7 crazy is that?

someday this will happen with Loki and Thor.
there's gonna have to be a Thor movie without Loki.
fine. i hope that happens too. but 5 X-Men movies? 5 Magnetos?
that's not who Magneto should be in the movies.
he should be what he is.

the prequels are better than the originals in this respect tho. i think he's gonna have an entirely different role in Apocalypse than we've seen up til now. probably Mystique too.

and that's cool. but this is the last one.
this has to be the last one, or else it's just gonna start seeming weird.
dethpillow - 8/7/2014, 2:12 AM
@ReddestHood - do it then.
McGee - 8/7/2014, 2:19 AM
You do it dethpillow.
McGee - 8/7/2014, 2:24 AM
It's your turn.
NiklanderReborn - 8/7/2014, 2:40 AM
I liked DOFP and I cant wait for Apocalypse it's gonna be fun
CherryBomb - 8/7/2014, 3:19 AM
I do hope this means Sinister will be appearing!
Even though Sinister should be a villain BEFORE Apoc, I wouldn't mind if, in the after credits, we see Sinister rise up after the demise of Apoc, with a big grin a la Thanos style.
CherryBomb - 8/7/2014, 3:21 AM
I think after Apocalypse we will get more of an X-Man film with the reintroduction of Jean, Scott and Storm.
TheRationalNerd - 8/7/2014, 4:20 AM
Saw this last week. Seems like they're working pretty hard. As much as Kinverg has been talking about how much they've been using the original story arc and 90s animated series for inspiration it's going to be pretty promising. There's so many different ways that they can go with the story. And with Fan Bingbing confirming that she's contracted to play Blink in the next (not 1, not 2, not even 3 but 4 x-men flicks is something that tells me Fox either has a plan for more girthier stories or she's just speaking on her contract that means she's signed for any four x-men films.
TheRationalNerd - 8/7/2014, 4:22 AM
*Kinberg* and I expect to see some notion of costumes this time.
TheRationalNerd - 8/7/2014, 4:30 AM
And now it appears that X-Men and Cap 3 will be facing off against one another, needles to say Alice in Wonderland 2 will be coming at em! smh lol
gambgel - 8/7/2014, 5:11 AM
wonder who are they gonna kill this time around in a cheap way, or leave him/her out of the movie for no reason
xXkryptoniteXx - 8/7/2014, 5:13 AM
2016 will be the year of great comic book movies.
Nubase - 8/7/2014, 5:17 AM
this movie is going to be insane, not worried by the acting, action and story cos that will be nailed down, its Apoc, they need to make sure he is a god on earth, make him frightening
WruceBayne - 8/7/2014, 5:25 AM
A younger Jean & Scott are suppose to show up in this one right? I'm pretty sure I heard that a little while ago.
