Alternate X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Costume Designs; Jubilee Was To Appear

Costume illustrator Phillip Boutte Jr. ("Man of Steel"), worked with costume designer Louise Mingenbach on Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Come check out alternate costume designs for Iceman, Blink, Storm, Bishop and... Jubilee?

It is already well known that director Bryan Singer intended larger roles for Storm (Halle Berry) and Rogue (Anna Paquin) in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Their parts were largely left on the cutting room floor, but did you know that Bryan Singer had intended to bring another mutant back for his latest X-Men film? Based on costume illustrations that Phillip Boutte created for the film, there are two for Jubilee. The mutant that can create bright bursts of multi-colored energy plasmoids was portrayed by Katrina Florece in X-Men (2000). Though, it is Jamie Chung's likeness used in the artwork. So, why was she cut as well?
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past will be directed by Bryan Singer ("Usual Suspects"). The cast includes: Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Evan Jonigkeit, Adan Canto and Josh Helman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits UK cinemas on May 22 and US cinemas the following day.

The Iceman costume is better and that's the only change Id've made.
MercwithMouth - 6/2/2014, 2:06 PM

Actually , the second Jubilee one is pretty sweet, on a second glance.
Vegeta - 6/2/2014, 2:13 PM
The first Bishop one and both the Iceman ones are badass!
GenerationX - 6/2/2014, 2:13 PM
I wish Jubilee had been in the movie...
Vegeta - 6/2/2014, 2:14 PM
Blink is hot as [frick]!

yossarian - 6/2/2014, 2:14 PM
I like how Charles is wearing a tie under all that armor.
superherofan21 - 6/2/2014, 2:15 PM
Juggernaut was also originally supposed to fill Quicksilver's role. Fox just changed it the moment they heard Marvel wanted to use him in Age of Ultron.
OnePunchBaldy - 6/2/2014, 2:15 PM
Jamie Chung as Jubilee? I love it. X-Men: Apocalypse please!
GA15 - 6/2/2014, 2:15 PM
i miss the jubilee/wolvie father/daughter relationship that they had in cartoons.
Abary - 6/2/2014, 2:19 PM
That sleeve-less Bishop is really cool.
captainireland - 6/2/2014, 2:20 PM
Damn, Jubilee should totally have appeared! Should have brought Kea Wong back and let her actually use her powers. That would have been awesome.
GA15 - 6/2/2014, 2:23 PM
why do they keep cutting Jubilee scene out the x-men movies?
Opticblast - 6/2/2014, 2:26 PM
There's only so many ways they can do black.
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 6/2/2014, 2:27 PM
Black,black,black,black,black,black.Black costumes for everybody.
GA15 - 6/2/2014, 2:29 PM
@Marvel i know
Superheromoviefan - 6/2/2014, 2:30 PM
Shit, Singer loves black suit too much. They look cool, but I miss the classics
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 6/2/2014, 2:30 PM
If Singer and Co ever picked up a comic,if they want to use dark colors, they can use navy blue like the comics.Vaughn used navy blue in First Class.
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 6/2/2014, 2:31 PM
@GA15 Right.
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 6/2/2014, 2:33 PM
That art does look good, especially Bishop and Iceman.
MarvelWeiner - 6/2/2014, 2:34 PM
I would have liked more cohesive uniforms, so they all looked like they belong to the same team because they all had very distinct designs and had too much going on that it made them look like runway shit

shamo - 6/2/2014, 2:35 PM
They all look dope except Warpath, not really feeling that one. I like BEasts look the most though.
baszs - 6/2/2014, 2:36 PM
Warpath was the most boring mutant i saw..
Facade - 6/2/2014, 2:37 PM
Cool stuff...great Summer movie right there.
LAsBruceWayne - 6/2/2014, 2:37 PM
I would've liked a lil more time spent on how the world went from everything is fine to post sky-net in what 50 years? I would of wanted to see the turning point in a flashback.. But there was enough to cover so I can see why... Enjoyed the shit out the movie. Especially enjoyed how my GF didn't know wth was happening and super confused the whole time being this her first X-Men movie.
grif - 6/2/2014, 2:39 PM
those bishop guns are way better than the nerf gun he had in the movie
sKeemAn - 6/2/2014, 2:41 PM
Jamie Chung as Jubilee is pretty awesome. I will never think about Jubilation the same way. Blink is sexy as hell and she should have been able to take down the Sentinels by herself.
CharlesLord - 6/2/2014, 2:41 PM
The first blink looks like its from assassins creed
MarvelWeiner - 6/2/2014, 2:42 PM
If beast was so smart, why was that [racial slur] dead in the future?
Pasto - 6/2/2014, 2:45 PM
X-Men should've had actual costumes.
