Possible X-MEN: DOFP Opening Scene Description

Possible X-MEN: DOFP Opening Scene Description

Radar online have got hold of a possible description of the opening scene of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past. It's not much (even if it is legit) but click on to see what may transpire between Blink and Warpath at the beginning of the movie.

According to Radar online, they've got some tid bits on how the first couple of scenes in X-Men: Days of Future Past will play out.

UPDATE: Sorry everybody! Fox has sent us a take down request (so this bit of script must be legit). We cannot have actual lines from the script or they can claim piracy. What we can do is describe it in our own words. So, basically Warpath and Blink are in Moscow where everything is in smoking ruins. They become aware of an unseen enemy and teleport to what looks to be a huge bomb shelter full of mutant refugees. It is clear that the unseen enemy is still tracking them and will be there shortly to dispatch the group. Within moments, the bunker starts to shudder and crumble.

Radar goes on to explain that their source was who was looking to sell it to a media publication. Whether it's legit or not, it definately sounds cool. What do you guys think? I'm personally pumped for DOFP, with it being my most anticipated CBM this year. Leave your thoughts down below.

Guessing Sentinels....found where the mutants are hiding? Would be a cool opening!

I'm hoping for another trailer soon, have at least a glimpse of a sentinel in action, get an understanding of what to expect as a viewer/cbm fan. I liked the feel to the first trailer...
SychoSid85 - 1/15/2014, 6:32 PM

I thought the opening scene was going to be the assassination of JFK and Magneto curved the bullet because that is what Matthew Vaughn wanted to do if he ever directed the sequel. If the leaked opening above is true, I will be slightly disappointed because since Vaughn said he would like to do the JFK opening, I have been digging it ever since and I thought Bryan Singer said once he liked Vaughn's idea as well. So I hope the above description is not true.

Sid: Do you love me? I love you, so you must love me exactly as a love you.
V8ER - 1/15/2014, 8:00 PM
Ah here's what I was looking for. "Leaked" riiight. Singer did this to counteract Ant-Man and JL news. Love these movies but this is getting ridiculous
EkklesiaRobb - 1/15/2014, 8:28 PM
I wonder why so many Fox haters think if the rights went back to Marvel Studios that they'd want to do anything more than attempt to merge the current franchise with the Avengers MCU. Perhaps the folks at Marvel are perfectly OK with the way Fox is headed right now.

It's also incredible that you waste so much time reading articles and posting comments about a franchise you don't like. That's like an atheist complaining that he doesn't like the tune of a hymn sung by a choir in a church they don't attend. Pointless.
guillimunster - 1/15/2014, 8:44 PM
now, everyone cry together.

here, I even have a cool record to play for the crying.

it's called "Give The Rights Back To Marvel."

same song is on both sides.
EvilSuperman - 1/15/2014, 9:00 PM

Sounds good to me and for that you get the Bat's Thumb of Approval

AGoodHonestMan - 1/15/2014, 9:19 PM
Lol! After all the Marvel Studios news taking over, Brian Singer must've leaked this! Lol!
Pedrito - 1/15/2014, 9:21 PM
I hope those two don't get taken out in the first scene. Sounds like they might.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/15/2014, 9:22 PM
Booooo, that's all you got singer.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/15/2014, 9:23 PM
Bryan Hack Singer did leak this lol.
Tainted87 - 1/15/2014, 9:24 PM
I guess Singer figures, since the world's ending, they can go all out with their costumes.

Aw well, it sounds interesting. I'm wondering if Colossus will actually have an accent though. Considering where it's all located, you would hope so.
McMeatFace - 1/15/2014, 9:26 PM
Part of the leak goes on to detail how Colossus dies during the initial battle with the Sentinels as well.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/15/2014, 9:26 PM
For folks who couldn't read:

The film opens in futuristic Moscow, where buildings are crumbling in smoking ruins." The first line of Dialogue will be spoken by James 'Warpath' Proudstar, "They're here," telling Blink, played by Chinese actress, Bingbing Fan.

Suddenly, the duo are whisked though a portal to “a vast bomb shelter under the Kremlin,” the script explains. “Shelves are full of food, the floor full of bunks, all inhabited by a band of mutant refugees,” and there’s a shrine to fallen mutants in a distant corner. As Blink and Warpath emerge in the room, Blink tells the gathered mutants, “Time’s up.”

Suddenly, “MASSIVE DEEP SHOCKWAVES echo from above,” the script reveals. “Dust falls. Something is coming. Something terrifying.”

Radar goes on to explain that their source was who was looking to sell it to a media publication. Whether it's legit or not, it definately sounds cool.
m0th3r - 1/15/2014, 9:41 PM
Singer was green with envy after all the Marvel and DC news....

Power Rangers called, they need their villain costumes back...
RyGoR - 1/15/2014, 9:41 PM
Sounds good

Mannnnnn sexy blink can tinkle my wink cheriously put the bingbing in her fan if ya know what I'm saying ;)

ricko8687 - 1/15/2014, 9:45 PM
Sounds like another great opening like X MEN 2 that opening was great and this one sounds great too
jcotti - 1/15/2014, 9:50 PM
So does this movie erase the first 3 xmen movies? Im confused.
manhunter212 - 1/15/2014, 9:51 PM
Can they just give the rights back to Marvel but keep Hugh, Patrick Stewart, and Sir Ian McKellen? Please?
jcotti - 1/15/2014, 9:52 PM
I know that wolverine loses his memory but it seems Magneto didnt know who wolverine was in xmen 1
BrowniesExplode - 1/15/2014, 9:58 PM
@Agoodhonestman I thought i was the only one noticing Fox and or Singer doing this. Putting stuff out when either Marvel or Sony put stuff out.
MightyZeus - 1/15/2014, 10:02 PM

From the description of that scene it seems that Blink and Warpath might not last long and a Sentinel might bust in from above them. I'm a bit confused as to who or what are the shrines of the fallen mutants?
REPOMAN - 1/15/2014, 10:03 PM

Looks like TWILIGHT.

TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/15/2014, 10:05 PM
Batman Returns is playing on AMC.....oh yeah back to fox men. Why are the costumes clean in a desolate future.?? Warpath looks like he came off the arrow or smallville set.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/15/2014, 10:09 PM
I bet instead of showing graves of the deceased mutants that singer created a cheap candle light vigil for the deceased mutants.
Objectivelybiased - 1/15/2014, 10:40 PM
Unpopular opinion time.

I have been a Marvel fanboy since probably first grade. Sorry, as much as I respect what D.C characters symbolize, I just never understood that company on a character level. The book that brought me into the Marvel U was Uncanny X-Men (outback days to be exact). That in turn got me invested in the Marvel U as a whole. Currently, I LOVE what Marvel is doing in film. I really enjoyed the Singer X films though I believe the ball was dropped on certain characters way before Ratner got his hands on it. I was also never a fan of his "stud I met at Tiger Heat" method of casting pivotal roles. I understand that the X Films have crippling flaws. I also get that Singer has a blindside AND most importantly that the studio the X films are under might not always know what do with the franchise other than replicating the Marvel method. With that said ... I hope to God Marvel does not get the rights back or if they do they never even imply that they share the same universe for this reason:

The X-men makes no sense existing in the Marvel Universe. Not in comics and most certainly not in big budget films where the viewing public are bound to get confused. Basically, why hate and fear mutants when you accept that your most patriotic hero has the same powers ...and he got them via performance enhancing drugs. We are supposed to accept that they cherish one group but not another that can do the same thing? It would also greatly diminish the importance of Banner in the MCU.

It just doesn't make sense . So please, push for improving the current Fox X men, not comlicating the MCU with the concept of mutants.
