Hat Rescue?
Curmudgeon - 5/14/2014, 10:51 PM
Curious to hear if Ottman reprises any of his melodies from X2, considering he's the only composer to do more than one film in this whole series.
Mrcool210 - 5/14/2014, 10:56 PM

The track names in this are actually good, I can't wait to actually hear them.

Going off topic for a bit: So I finally got around to watching TASM2 and I have no idea what some of you guys are talking about, this movie is actually good (I'm only 40 mins in though). The only problem I have is too much is going on in it.

hat rescue is probly when mags gets his helm back [racial slur]s
TPerryoo7 - 5/14/2014, 11:46 PM
@Curmudgeon YES the X2 theme is BACK! Its more refined and harder hitting. along with some classic emotional cues.
BoredSorcercer - 5/15/2014, 12:02 AM

Wow a troll in the comment section already...

Did Ottman use any of either John Powell or Henry Jackman's works ?

I thought both Powell and Jackman had composed fantastic scores with
some truly great themes (yes, vastly superior to Ottman's own theme for X2).

They are promoting Quicksilver scenes in TV spots as if his role is going to be next to Wolverine and Magneto, when everyone knows he'll appear just for a 20 min sequence.
mgeoff88 - 5/15/2014, 12:52 AM
This is what I think of when I hear "Hat Rescue..."

mgeoff88 - 5/15/2014, 12:59 AM
@earzmundo What does Bryan Singer's sexual orientation have to do with the quality of the movie?

If that question stumps you, the answer is nothing. Nothing.

"What does Bryan Singer's sexual orientation have to do with the quality of the movie?

What an awesome response.

"We've all heard John Ottman's beautiful score in the X-Men: Days of Future Past trailers"...

Is this confirmed? Most trailers use scores from other movies or specifically written by trailer music composers. Hope you're not expecting to hear music from Hans Zimmer's THE THIN RED LINE (used in the first trailer) on this soundtrack.

Poolmusic.... If ya know what I meen....
jimoakley666 - 5/15/2014, 3:30 AM
I hope a bit of Magneto's theme by Henry Jackman is snuck in here, because that was far too catchy. To this day my fiancée (a music teacher) still goes about the house humming that tune to herself.
Richardness - 5/15/2014, 4:21 AM
Was kinda hoping for the orchestral version of Kashmir they keep showing in the trailers...oh well

Mgeoff: Well, it's like this. Anyone who's unhappy Fox is still making Xmen movies, and can't barely form a cogent thought, scream "he's gay" or "boy lover". It's sad reall, really really sad.
TheGreenBastard - 5/15/2014, 4:37 AM
Pepe: Bow chica wooo owww.
OrionPax - 5/15/2014, 5:27 AM
