First Class: When it was bad it was cringe worthy but when it was good it was leaps and bounds beyond Cap or Thor. By far the best Comic book Movie (In fairness , I havent seen Green Lantern)

X-men First Class wasn't great, it was pretty good. Cap was the same way, but Cap was better. Thor and GL are tied for me.

I liked X-Men First Class except that the whole thing seemed rushed and sort of tossed together. Thor was cool but it really needed to stick to the original comics better and it seemed like a spinoff of Iron Man, being pulled into the orbit of the massive blockbuster. Green Lantern was gay in both the special fx department and the acting. Hope Ryan Reynolds is better in Deadpool. Overall I liked Cpatain America TFA the best, it seemed the most put together and wasn't completely FX driven. I nominate Chris Evans for best portrayel of a superhero this year.

@ Vision91 - Lol! I found Chris Evans horrendous as Cap. But well that's my opinion of course. All 4 movies this year could have been better, but well I liked most of them. X-Men was very good, but it was rushed a bit. Green Lantern had its moments, but had too much unnecessary crap in it, but it was still fun. Thor was good too, but had too much earth crap. Cap was just ok.

First Class...Mystique growing up with Xavier as his "sister"? Havok being one of Xaviers first students? The movie was good and entertaining, but basically just Fox making up things as they go.

Overall, I agree with the Poll. Cap followed by Thor. All things considered, they were just better movies.

Green, lol.

I liked first class, but it just had too much "creative liberty" with the characters and the source material.

what a wasted oportunity for a fresh start, with the young magneto and xavier and the real first class, distancing themselves from the first trilogy... instead, they decided to complicate even more the already messed-up continuity with things like "raven xavier" and a class of x-men that looked like they just threw names on a hat and picked randomly.

my vote goes for cap.

I personally voted for Thor. My whole reasoning is because I really loved Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Dont get me wrong I loved Captain America as well but That character did it for me. I cant wait to see him reprise his role in The Avengers as well. I think that Cap 2 will be a better film because it wont be as dry as the first one was in the beginning. However it was dry because they wanted to get the story right which I credit them on that.

Captain America and Thor. Will never see First Class. It should have been a Magneto film, like Origins Wolverine. Instead a whole bunch of random mutants are thrown into the film, people no one cares about, and, I - - I just hate it.
Moonwalker1991 - 8/9/2011, 12:39 PM
@Webhead: How is there going to be a sequel to Captain America if Rogers is in the present day. Makes no sense.
CitizenOfAsgard - 8/12/2011, 5:07 PM
OMG, Thor, hands down. Captain America was good, but I enjoy my CBM's with a bit of spectacle; that's what made Thor so wonderful.

Ever since Bryan Singer's X-Men, all directors/studios want to make superhero movies "reality-based". WTH is that!?!

Even though GL is DC, and I'm a Marvel guy, I enjoyed that movie, esp. the middle "Hot Wheels" scene. XM-FC only had one GREAT scene, and that was right in the middle of the movie (I won't ruin it for those who have [surprisingly] not seen it.

I am the same guy who loved FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer, with the one exception that Tim Story should have made Galactus "GALACTUS", not some strange cloudy tentacle-thingy. I wanted to see the real deal.
