I am not excited for this movie at all. I know I'll go see it. I went and saw Ghost Rider... I hope Fox doesn't continue to butcher this franchise.

That first photo fooled me, I thought we would finally see wolverine in the yellow suit, knew it was too good to be true

why is this set in WW2? that doesn't make any sense. in the first wolverine it was after ww2 when he got the surgery. is he not gonna have adamantium in this movie?

Bring it. I want a wolverine movie for a rated R flick, screw this pg-13 crap. If its pg-13 please make it a bit dark like Nolan's dark knight trilogy. Make it when a guy get shot you can feel it, when a guy gets stab you can imagin it and feel the gritty style.

If you dont know what I mean go watch legends of the guardians: The owls of ga'hoole. It's a pg-13 movie but they edited well and still make it dark. That's what a true good director can do.
Also like batman begins, where the guy get shot in the back from the league of shadows, very dark on how they edited it and also from the sound.

no admantium if they stick with the timeline but makes sense sort of if hes in japan during ww2 i wonder what the angle is?

@SageMode - Couldn't disagree more. X2 and First Class were inspired. Some of the greatest CBMs ever made.

@sansClaymore - I'd imagine the WW2 stuff may be flashback or prologue. They said it takes place after the Weapon X process.

i want this and a time travel movie with the cast of first class, jackman, berry, page, and someone to play colossus and cable. then i might die happy.

Wolverine will never wear the mask as long as Fox is making the movies. Watch we will get some watered down version and still not be happy. I just hope the story is better than Whorigins

I think Wolverine will be blasted by Nuke.

PowerProphet, you have an excellent point. We might get small visits from characters in movies and rarely a group movie, much less individual character films. Let's hope these movies turn a corner and become great films.

One more thing, some of those reference photos and production art above shoe the remains of the Nagasaki Arch which, somehow, survived the atomic blast in 1945.

Can I just point out, even if Marvel had the rights to X-Men, I doubt VERY much that they would wear their comic book costumes. You wouldn't see Wolverine in that mask either. Marvel aren't thick. They know that thing looks like shit. Look at the movie version of Hawkeye. And the uniforms SHIELD wear. They got rid of the campy shit from Cap's costume and they completely stream-lined Thor's. You will never see that silly batman mask in an X-Men movie, be it by Marvel or Fox.

Is this supposed to be a movie that takes place during World War II? I have a bad feeling about this movie but I'm willing to give it a chance.
