I thought this show came out like a year ago? I thought we got season one?

This looks okay... Never been a big fan of the Jack Ryan series - I do like Hunt for Red October though.

However, I'll watch anything with Krasinski in it so I'll give it a shot.

I have always wondered how he would have done as Cap. I think he would have done great. I just want him to do a CBM

Mr. Fantastic all the way, despite his comedic chops, he's also able to convey a real maturity

It’s quite amazing seeing how far he’s come since The Office days.

A couple of years ago a movie came out, 2013 maybe (?), and it starred Chris Pine. It did not appear it went well. I couldn't see it. I have been seing some pics and news about this here and there now with John Krasinski.

I guess it is worth a look given the buzz. I have absolutely no idea who Jack Ryan is tbh. Sometimes I confuse it a little bit with Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher (the 2nd movie was for me quite awesome than the 1st one) but this might be a new learning experience, specially since I've been checking out new shows while waiting for my CBTV ones to return.

Not subscribed to Amazon so I might have to resort to good ol' webcouchturner or something. :P

I hate Baldwins politics but he was the best Ryan.

@Spartan - I have to agree. He had the look of a CIA analyst and the quiet, contemplative intelligence that went with it. When he figures out what Sean Connery is planning during the meeting, the way he rests his head in his hands and looks at the table, and speaks quietly as if he's trying to convince himself of what he's saying, not anyone else, was exactly how I imagine Jack Ryan to be. It was the best scene in the film.

Him as Mr. Fantasic and Emily as Sue, do it Feige!

The strange thing is I can't see him as Jack Ryan, but I can see him as Superman. He's got the look of a small town farmer turned journalist / superhero, but I don't see him as a former Marine turned CIA analyst. He was good in 13 Hours but I didn't buy him as an elite special forces operator either. I can see him as a politician or a scientist though.

bad casting choice, i can't take this guy seriously... he will always have that stupid look on his face that would just stare into the camera after dwight did something stupid lol

The series looks good, but I'm really disappointed that they're doing another original story when there are so many books to adapt. They could have adapted each book into a season if they wanted. Hopefully they fare better than Shadow Recruit.

Whatever happened to Chris Pine as Jack Ryan? Why on earth would they not get him back? Uggh, this is probably because Pine's in that crappy Wonder Woman farce and too busy to do both. This guy looks more like Chuck than Jack Ryan. No offense to Krasinski, Quiet Place was pretty good, after all. This just seems like a bizarre choice. Is this set in the DCEU? (I know it's supposed to be 'Worlds of DC' now but that just sounds so stupid) We all know how they love radical (ie: sh*tty) casting choices. Lol.

Oh well, at least he's still better than Affleck as Jack Ryan. Not that "better than Affleck" is exactly glowing credentials these days. Yeesh.
