JAMES BOND 25: The Long Awaited Sequel Has Been Pushed Back Another Two Months

The road to the twenty-fifth James Bond film has been a rocky one, and as evident from today's headline it continues to be. Hopefully, this is the last delay the sequel will get, allowing fans to witness Daniel Craig's apparent final outing as the beloved spy.

According to MGM and various outlets, the untitled 25th installment has been pushed back another two months, shifting from February 14, 2020
to Easter weekend, April 8, 2020. This is its second delay after it was initially announced for November 2019.

After the divisiveness of 2015's Spectre, the next Bond film has had a history of stagnating development. Initially, fans were left to wonder whether Craig was even returning to play the character, considering the apprehensiveness the actor displays during press tours.

It took a while to find a director for the film, with Danny Boyle taking the helm for a while before passing the torch to Cary Joji Fukunaga. Taking his
creative body of work (True Detective, Maniac) into account, fans should be in for one hell of a sendoff.
