Can't wait, one of my most anticipated movies of the year. We've likely got the second best action trilogy on our hands right here, at least in the last decade.

@NateBest - hopefully one day we get a third film in this franchise! A Raid trilogy would also be one of the best of all time :-)

@HeavyMetal4Life - The Mission: Impossible films are truly one of the reasons I love going to the cinema: Action, stunts, acting, music, humour they really nail it at everything , the first three are also really good, can't go wrong with Mr. Cruise! :)

@Jayman627 - Cruise is one of my favorites and one of the best in the business, truly second to none. And Fallout, god what a freaking masterpiece, one of the greatest action films of all time and perhaps the greatest action film of the 21st century.

@Jayman627 - what a spectacular sequence, one of his best. It was stuff like that in Ghost Protocol that really showed that film was taking stuff to a whole nother level. That movie kind of reinvented the franchise and showed what the 'Mission: Impossible' concept could really mean to the audience, and what the franchise could be as well. Between these three films and Edge of Tomorrow, he has been in some of my favorite/the best action movies, hell movies in general of the decade.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Definitely Hollywood will never have another Tom Cruise, he knows exactly how to keep things fresh and entertaining to old and new audiences it's just great! I've always said even his weakest movies like The Mummy and Jack Reacher 2 he's always the best part of them.

Last Samurai is still his most underrated film in my opinion I really like that one :)

What are your thoughts on Top Gun: Maverick?

@Jayman627 - Oh I agree that there won't be another actor like Tom. Jack Reacher 2 is definitely a mediocre film, though that wasn't Tom's fault. Still haven't seen The Mummy.

Last Samurai is a great movie, certainly underrated. It has some great acting, visuals, action, character growth and development, and packs some emotional punches.

I'm currently indifferent with regards to Maverick. The first film is good but I don't 'quite' get the love for it, think its a little overrated tbh. But that's just me. If its as high quality as some of the other Cruise films of the decade, then I'll be very happy!!

@HeavyMetal4Life - Ya I'm the same, I like Top Gun but I don't know if i really need a sequel, but the fact that Tom Cruise is involved I'm certainly expecting it to be entertaining and I know he isn't the type to make something for a easy payday he puts in the hard work! Plus the flying scenes are gonna be really great with not just how experienced Tom is, but with filmmaking as a whole since the original! :)

ironic if they stick the landing with the 3rd film is would quietly be one of the better actions runs I've seen in the last 10 years.

@MasterMix - I usually only go to the theater to see MCU movies. Past few years anyway

But this year I'm definitely going to see US, endgame, Spiderman 2, Godzilla, and John wick 3
