Empire Magazine has unveiled this month's newsstand and subscribers covers, and they bring us a world-exclusive first look at Mission: Impossible 7.

We've already seen plenty of set photos and promo shots from director Christopher McQuarrie at this stage, but this marks our first official look at Tom Cruise back in action as the seemingly invincible Ethan Hunt as he leaps over a ravine on a motorcycle.

Will this be one of the daring stunts Cruise performs himself in the movie? It's probably a safe bet! Check out the cover below, and be sure to pick up a copy of the mag for an interview with the man himself.

We recently found out that Mission: Impossible 7 will receive a shortened theatrical release, and will only play for 45 days before heading to the upcoming Paramount+ streaming service.

Plot details are still under wraps, but we assume the story will revolve around Hunt and his team attempting to stop a potentially world-ending threat of some kind.

Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny and Angela Bassett will all be back alongside Cruise as fellow franchise returnees, and they'll be joined by Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham and Esai Morales.

Mission: Impossible 7 is set for release on November 19, 2021; with Mission: Impossible 8 following on November 4, 2022.
