It's been a while since we heard anything solid about WB's plans for the new Batman solo film, but director Matt Reeves has now provided a positive, if very brief update on the status of the project...

We're still not sure whether Ben Affleck will return as Bruce Wayne/Batman for Warner Bros.' next solo Dark Knight outing or not, but Matt Reeves is most definitely still at the helm, and the War for The Planet of The Apes director has now given fans an update on the film's status.

He doesn't go into any detail, but during an interview with The Q & A Podcast, Reeves does reveal that he has finally "worked out the story" and is now outlining the script.

Again, not a whole lot to go on, but at least we have confirmation that the overall plot has been mapped out - even if Reeves hasn't settled on how it'll be structured just yet.
