THE BATMAN Set Photo Appears To Confirm That Superman Also Exists In This DC Universe
Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader isn't the only superhero who exists in The Batman Universe if this new set photo is any indication, as someone attending a Halloween party is dressed up as Superman...
The Batman is still shooting in Liverpool, England, and there's now been a very interesting development. Confirming that the movie takes place during Halloween, a bus load of extras were spotted arriving for a party on set yesterday evening, but there's one who definitely jumps out.
It seems one of the extras is dressed as Superman, something that seemingly confirms the Man of Steel exists in this world! This could just be a throwaway Easter Egg, and perhaps the hero is only fictional in the "Reeves-Verse," but it seems like the iconic superhero lives over in Metropolis.
The chances of us actually seeing him team up with Pattinson's Dark Knight are very slim, but it's hard not to be excited about the possibility of director Matt Reeves also reinventing Superman at some point.
The Batman was recently pushed back to 2022, so it's going to be a while before we see anything more from this one, and even longer than that when it comes to learning about this world's Man of Steel.
