More photos from the set of The Batman appear to confirm that Wonder Woman and the Flash are part of the "Reeves-Verse," while we may also have details on what year the DC Comics adaptation is set...

The Batman has been shooting in the UK for the past couple of weeks, and production will soon move to Chicago. The crew has been getting locations ready, but before we get to that, another photo from the costume party taking place in Gotham City appears to confirm that Wonder Woman also exists in this world.

As we explained yesterday in our Superman post, this could just be a meaningless Easter Egg, and not any sort of sign that Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader will interact with those superheroes. However, a newspaper that was also spotted on the set of The Batman mentioned the existence of Metropolis, so who knows.

Moving to Chicago, a poster teases the Flash, while a date revealed on a taxi appears to confirm that the events of The Batman take place during 2019. There's not necessarily a reason for that, but it's interesting that the story is essentially taking place in the past rather than the "present" like most movies.

We'll have to wait and see, but as minor as details like this one are, it's hard not to get excited about what it means for the world of The Batman and the "Reeves-Verse" that's separate to the DCEU.

LMAO 2019! So much for all that "it's set in the 80s-90s"

@Nightwing1015 - Well, I'm pretty sure that was the plan at first. Then The Batfleck turned into The Batman with a new script altogether.

@Nightwing1015 - I always thought those rumours were stupid, just to accommodate to the “Ben Affleck isn’t leaving” mob.

That looks more like a Static Shock logo if it were to be a logo at all.
Also, shame that it's 2019. I was looking forward to old Gotham.

How does a sticker labeled 2019 mean it's not set in the "present". Do you throw everything out at the start of a new year?

@MosquitoFarmer - makes no sense to say it takes place in the past. The only difference now in 2020 is that we have a pandemic, something they surely are not gonna address in the movie

I don't know if that logo refers to Flash, but I'm hoping for a Battison cameo in Flashpoint. Perhaps Flash, in his fantastic journey through other universes, he briefly passes through the "Reeves-Verse" and Battinson from above observes a beam of light that passes through Gotham.

That’s an odd random year.

All these costumes seem like Easter eggs. It fits for a movie that appears to be in its own universe.

I think it’s to throw people off to not reveal much of the actual movie so spoilers won’t get leaked

So it's pretty much set in present day, something that was already pretty clear from the vehicles and use of mobile phones we've seen.

I'm kinda hoping other heroes do exist though, because the idea of a guy dressing up as one in a world where all other well-known are fictional is kinda weird to me.

How the hell somebody would think it's 80-90's when there has been new cars on the set while they are filming.
