BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Concept Art Showcases A More Comic-Accurate Take On Doomsday

New Batman V Superman concept art has surfaced online, and it looks like a much more comic book-faithful incarnation of the monstrous Doomsday was originally going to feature. Check it out...

One of the many problems fans had with Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was the film's depiction of the villainous Doomsday, who actually looked more like the Cave Troll from The Fellowship of the Ring than the incredibly powerful creature that was responsible for Supes' death in the comics.

Though Doomsday did undergo a gradual transformation that left him looking a bit more like his comic book counterpart, artist Jerad S.Marantz has shared some of his early concept designs for the character which bare a much closer resemblance to the spiky behemoth we know and love. The third version went a little OTT, but arguably still looks cooler than the one they ended up going with!
