COMICS: Marvel And Jeff Lindsay's DEXTER Series Will FINALLY Debut This July

Jeff Lindsay's five-part Dexter series was originally announced at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con and then the first issue was delayed until two months ago before being pushed back yet again to July. The solicitations for that month have now unveiled new details and a cover by Mike Del Mundo!

If you're looking forward to seeing Dexter Morgan enter the world of comic books, then you should be very relieved to learn that the first issue of the series from writer Jeff Lindsay will finally be released this July. The comic book won't be based on the hit Showtime series which stars Michael C. Hall as the titular serial killer, instead taking inspiration from Lindsay's novels (the first season of the show was based quite closely on Darkly Dreaming Dexter). Here are all the details...

DEXTER #1 (OF 5)

• Dexter Morgan isn’t just Miami’s #1 forensic blood splatter expert...he’s also a serial killer who targets other serial killers!
• In this issue, Dexter faces his worst nightmare: his high school reunion!
• Plus, Dexter faces his other worst nightmare: a former classmate with a secret that could destroy him!
