This December, Marvel Comics is launching Devil's Reign, a new event series from Daredevil creative team Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto.

Villains will rule and heroes will fall, and in anticipation of this upcoming crossover event, some of Marvel's top artists have delivered outstanding new artwork for a brand-new variant cover series. These "Villains' Reign" variants transform your favourite heroes into some of the fierce foes that will take charge in the upcoming event.

Among the unexpected mashups are Captain Marvel as Mole Man, The Hulk as Kingpin, She-Hulk as Kraven the Hunter, Black Panther as Sabretooth, Mary Jane as Nightmare, Doctor Strange as The Ringmaster, Captain America as Princess Python, and The Thing as Death.

Described as a classic-style Marvel Comics crossover event, Devil's Reign revolves around Kingpin as he broadens his lofty goals in a scheme that will unleash dark secrets about some of Marvel’s greatest heroes. Having kept these shocking truths to himself for ages, Kingpin is ready to ruthlessly expose his foes to gain more power than ever before...and he has a lot of dirt on these heroes!

Wilson Fisk went from Kingpin to mayor of the biggest city in America and is going to bring his full criminal and political power to bear on the superheroes who call NYC home. The man who once destroyed Daredevil has set his sights on The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and more. Fisk is also set to have an army of supervillains on his side, including Crossbones, Taskmaster, Typhoid Mary, Shocker, Whiplash, Rhino, and Kraven.
