JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Ray Fisher Reveals Which Villains He Wants To See In CYBORG's Solo Movie

No one seems entirely sure whether or not that Cyborg movie is ever going to happen but if it does, Justice League star Ray Fisher has a good idea for who he'd like the character to square off with.

A Cyborg movie is supposed to be released in 2020 but no one seems to know whether it's ever actually going to happen. Its fate probably hinges on how well received the character is in Justice League but with many critics saying he's far from a highlight in their early reactions, we might not want to hold our breath about it happening. In a new interview, even Ray Fisher says he doesn't know!

The actor does, however, have an idea of the direction he'd like it to take and has now revealed which comic book villains he thinks would be a good fit for Cyborg to do battle with on the big screen.

"With this kind of story, I’d love to see it be a little bit more intimate, a little bit more specific to Cyborg. There is a sort of Cyborg special that they had done years ago where he fights a group called Phantom Limbs, which is this mercenary group of cybernetically-enhanced individuals who are very much like him. I think seeing him take on people who have similar abilities but [are] a much more finely-tuned group of warriors – seeing how that all would turn out, I think would be really special."

Fisher is referring to 2008's DC Special: Cyborg, a comic which revolved around Vic Stone doing battle with this group of villains before The New 52 made him an integral part of the Justice League following the reality-altering Flashpoint. There's no denying that these guys would be a solid choice for the character's planned movie but as we've already mentioned, there's nothing to say it's happening...
