Diane Nelson Is Now Officially Out As President Of DC Entertainment At Warner Bros.

Back in March we reported that Diane Nelson was to take an extended leave of absence as President of DC Entertainment, but Warner Bros. has now officially announced that she won't be returning to the post.

Amid reports of big shakeups at Warner Bros. following the disappointing box office performance of Justice League, it was recently announced that DC Entertainment President Diana Nelson would be taking a leave of absence due to "a series of personal situations."

At the time, Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara assured us that Nelson would be back at some point, but the studio has now officially announced that she will not be returning to the position. The decision is said to be her own, and it's been stressed that Nelson was not forced out of her job.

For now, things will run as they have been until a replacement is appointed, with the DC executive management team of Dan DiDio, Jim Lee, Geoff Johns and Amit Desai reporting to Thomas Gewecke as they continue to run the company’s day to day.
