Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' updated logo combines the Sanctum Sanctorum window with the Scarlet Witch's crown, while a new rumour may reveal more about Wanda Maximoff's role.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of Marvel Studios' most secretive upcoming movies, and there's a huge amount of excitement surrounding what Sam Raimi has planned for the Sorcerer Supreme. We know Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch will factor into the plot, and as she's now more powerful than Strange, something tells us an epic battle could be on the way.

Recently, photos of a new crew gift started popping up on social media with an intriguing logo that combines the Scarlet Witch's crown with the Sanctum Sanctorum's window. Whether that signals a team-up or something more remains to be seen, but it's something that's generated a lot of chatter online.

The same can be said for a spoilery new rumour shared by @DanielRPK which claims that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature Wanda Maximoff chasing America Chavez through the Multiverse in an effort to acquire her powers. Why? Well, she needs them to retrieve her children, and Strange will be forced to step in to protect the young girl (and presumably the wider Multiverse).

We've heard a lot about the Scarlet Witch being the antagonist in this sequel, and this latest leak does make sense. How that ties into Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home remains to be seen, though.

Check out this new logo for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness below:

WandaVision wasn't a bad show, but it was somewhat lackluster overall. If it weren't for such strong engaging performances from Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany I would have been as bored by it as I was with Falcon and Winter Soldier. Elizabeth especially has me anticipating the future of her character. I am very excited to see what Raimi is cooking up for Strange.

@DarthOmega - honestly I feel the Sitcom gimmick really hurt the show at times, mainly the first two episodes.

@Razorface1 - that’s strange because I thought the exact opposite haha. The sitcom stuff was fun and then it all fell apart with the actual plot of the show. Different strokes I guess

@Dabs - What was edgy, pseudo edgy, cringy, or wrong about my post?

If that first image is official, there are lots of interesting things.

To begin with, Doctor Strange now has the emblem on his chest. And the Eye of Agamotto is on top, closing the cape, instead of beeing a necklace. It's even more accurate than before.

Wanda seems to wear a new suit that covers her arms. It's still pretty similar to the one she ends with at WandaVision's finale.

America Chavez's "suit" is really comic accurate too. Despite being long trousers instead of shorts. But, the more interesting thing to me is that all of them seems to come out of one of the star portals she creates to move between universes.

I'm really hyped for this movie! Bring it on!

The logos intertwined is being misread... it is a multiverse reference to Speed Racer appearing. Without Quicksilver they will need someone really fast to appease Wanda.

arousing one's curiosity or interest; fascinating.
"an intriguing story"

It's just a logo of two characters we ALREADY KNOW are going to be in the same movie together.

WHY is this "intriguing"?
