Yesterday, a clip from an interview with Emily Blunt went viral after the actress expressed frustration with being asked about Fantastic Four (again). However, the full thing tells a very different story.

Emily Blunt has once again been doing the rounds to promote A Quiet Place Part II, and she recently made it clear to Howard Stern that Fantastic Four is not a project she's attached to or particularly interested in.

Fans remain desperate to see her suit up as Sue Storm in Jon Watts' reboot, though, and yesterday, a four-second clip went viral showing the English actress seemingly losing her cool and snapping at an interviewer for asking about the role. The video has since had over 600,000 views, but a longer excerpt reveals that context is indeed key.

Blunt can be seen getting along well with the interviewer and was clearly happy to answer the question. In fact, he was only asking if she's prepared for the backlash that's likely to follow if Emily and husband John Krasinski aren't cast in Fantastic Four, and the answer given is light-hearted (she even calls it "flattering," but admits the whole thing is a "hypothetical" until the phone rings).

It's also worth noting that the conversation took place over a year ago, so anything more we see from Blunt as we get near to A Quiet Place Part II's release is out of date, and unlikely to be relevant, especially after she told Stern that Sue Storm is not a role she's being lined up for just weeks ago.

Here's a crazy idea. How about you only ask questions in regard to the movie they're actually promoting?

I think it's time to turn the page. This obsession with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski is insane. I have nothing more to say about it.

@Repian - Not really. It's pretty much your average overblown weird fancasting. It's the journalists I dont like.

Wow. Goes to show how watching the FULL video of something can completely change the context.
In the digital age we live in people need to realize when and how they are being manipulated to believe certain a things based on EDITED photos/videos, etc.

Dang, whoever cut that 4 second clip out really did the interviewer dirty. It really mischaracterizes the tone of the interaction, his professionalism and her mentality about it. I feel kind of bad for judging the guy as obnoxious based on the quick clip. Lesson learned.

@BIGBMH - It happens too often. Reporting is more about sensationalism and clicks rather than journalism in far too many corners these days.
