Should have ended it with the third one, everyone had closure and it ended on a high. Fourth one was worse than Fantastic Four 2.

I could see this movie being entertaining. The fact that Penelope Cruz is NOT returning is a huge positive. I was kinda hoping that we'd see the return of Orlando Bloom as the new Davey Jones. I liked him in the role.

Loved the first 3 movies, absolutely hated the 4th. Hopefully this one returns the franchise to it's former glory.

Johnny needs a career rework. This and anything Burton is becoming old sadly (not to mention Mordeci and Transendence). Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but I think taking a role in either the DCCU or MCU would probably do him some good. Any ideas fellas?

I don't see him doing a CBM. Obviously he already is tied to a Disney franchise. He would have been a interesting Tony Stark or DR Strange. I'm trying to think maybe a villain.

I don't think Depp should ever do a CBM. He's had a very full career with numerous amazing performances. He needs no "career rework". At this point, Johnny does the movies that he wants to do. very simple. Some people may not like the continuation of the POTC franchise, but I guarantee that Johnny is doing it because he absolutely loves the character. And I can see why. Jack Sparrow is a great character, and Depp is the only actor that could have ever played him.
