Ghostbusters film will be
Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The Jason Reitman-directed (who is the son of original director Ivan Reitman)
2020 Ghostbusters film is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 10, 2020 by Sony. The film will star newcomers Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, Celeste O’ Connor, Bokeem Woodbine and Oliver Cooper. Reprising their roles from 1984's
Ghostbusters and 1989's
Ghostbusters II are Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts reprising their roles from the first two films.
To date, all the only reveals from the project have been a smattering of cast previews and the below teaser poster and trailer. Filming recently wrapped in October after 68 days.
