Marvel have been a funny place recently, killing Peter Parker in the comics for the second time in the space of two years and the problems don't stop on the page. About a week ago, The Hollywood Reporter said that many stars of The Avengers wanted more money for their respective sequels. Robert Downey Jr was one of the many names that wanted more money, or he was out. Now Marvel are in a very sticky situation, they could always do the easy thing and re-cast, but then the general audience would have no idea what is going on. So is it time for Marvel to pay up? A new rumor has spread online stating that Robert Downey Jr wants $100 Million for The Avengers 2,3 & Iron Man 4 , in a way this deal does make a lot of sense considering the past of contracts (Tobey Maguire received $50 Million for Spider-Man 3 and would have received double for Spider-Man 4,5 & 6 )

The Australian Reports:
A decade ago Robert Downey Jr was Hollywood's poster boy for talent-wasting drug abuse in a series of tacky scandals that landed him in jail for a year.

Now the London-educated actor is set to become Hollywood's first $100 million man. Over the next few weeks negotiators representing the 48-year-old actor and film studios will meet to hammer out details of a two-film deal that could make him the best-paid actor in Hollywood history.

Comic Book.Com Reports
Robert Downey Jr.’s agents of saying he may consider future Marvel Studios roles for a guaranteed $100 million payday along with an increase on his 7 per cent share of box office receipts.

Now what do you guys make of this? Do you believe it is legitimate? or is it another one of those "internet rumors" Comment below and let me know!
