Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has followed up his recent Comic-Con clip retraction with a far more damning statement on Joss Whedon's behavior on the set of Justice League, calling out the director over Twitter.

Ray Fisher recently took to social media to "forcefully retract" the praise he gave to Joss Whedon at SDCC a few years ago, and the Cyborg actor has now followed that up with a far more damning statement on the filmmaker's behavior on the set of Justice League.

Warner Bros. hired Whedon to finish the movie when Zack Snyder was forced to step away after a death in the family, and although Fisher and other cast members seemed to be fully on board with the decision at the time (they can't really say any different in the middle of promoting a film, after all), this Tweet suggests that Whedon was a nightmare to work with.

Check out Fisher's comments below along with the original video - Jason Momoa's expression may well speak volumes!

As you can see, Fisher's Tweet also calls out Geoff Johns and executive producer Jon Berg for "enabling" Whedon, so there is some pretty heavy shade being thrown!

We've heard whispers about Whedon being a little difficult to work with in the past, but nothing even close to what he's being accused of here. It's going to be interesting to see if Whedon or the others respond or if any of Fisher's castmates back up these claims, so keep an eye out for updates.

I hate to say it, but does this not kind of smell like bs to some of you? It certainly doesn't line up with his experiences in the past like whatsoever, including on set for Justice League: 'I was disappointed, but when I got home to New York I found a bottle of my favorite champagne and a note from Joss that said 'To Battles Lost. Gratefully, Joss.' I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that he took the time to write to me. Joss Whedon is a class act. I had the letter framed."'

Just my two cents considering Ray himself has shown really odd behaviour, and this happens to lineup with the thoughts of a culty fandom. Just seems a little too convenient, vague, and unprecedented to judge early on.

@ScarletWarlock

Fisher has nothing to gain by saying this. Fake internet points don't count.

Also not the first time Whedon's been accused of being an assbag.

@regularmovieguy - Fisher hasn't had anything to gain for YEARS, it's just odd that he's coming out with this now, when the Snyder Cut is in the news (for real).

@ScarletWarlock - People are complex. All because he showed gratitude to one person and sent them a letter does not mean he could not have been nasty to others. I'm pretty sure even the worst person in the world has shown someone a singular act of kindness and decency.

I like Whedon's work, but I wouldn't put it past him to have behavior that rubs people the wrong way. He was hired to finish a movie he had no stake in. No part of. He's a smart guy. Justice League was a very lazy attempt of a Superhero film, and he knows. He cashed in, did the work which he probably dreaded, and left.

@ScarletWarlock @RageDriver2401- I personally think it makes more sense that it true bc he’s risking saying it. It would be the correct move for his career to not say anything instead of bringing things to light he has very little to gain from this and a lot to lose. It’s not like this is going to make him a household name, anyone who would have heard of him already would have bc of his support of Zack Snyder and his vocal speech regarding racial injustice. He has more to lose than to gain so I personally (as much as it sucks bc I’m a huge Whedon fan) I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be true

Exactly, it proves nothing. Just look at how much praise was showered on Weinstein for years.

@regularmovieguy - id say there is no reason to make a big deal over this. So far he is the only one saying anything and he isnt even saying what he did. Also the thing with his wife, seems like people dont care, plus his wife was the only one to say anything, so its safe to say he didnt do anything illegal
