Earlier today, we shared some concept art from Doug Liman's version of Justice League Dark featuring a first look at one of the scrapped movie's Swamp-Thing designs. Now, we have another courtesy of artist Houston Sharp, and this time, the hero towers over the man invading his forest.

The highlight here, however, might just be Sharp's take on a scene featuring John Constantine.

As you can see, the Englishman finds himself in the midst of a compromising situation with a, ahem, lady friend. As the artist explains, "Klarion, the corpse of a boy possessed by flies, politely asks Constantine for a turn with his whore." Yeah... this movie was clearly going to be R-Rated.

With any luck, this is going to open the floodgates for more concept art from Justice League Dark, especially as it's a movie we're never actually going to see. Instead, J.J. Abrams is working on developing the characters for an HBO Max series set to premiere at some point in the next few years.

I love Edge of Tomorrow so much, but I don't think that Liman was a great fit for this. Not a fan of that Swamp Thing design at all.
Del Toro probably could have done some really interesting things. Wonder who they get to show-run the JL Dark show, but it'll be weird seeing a new Swamp Thing so close to the cancelled TV show. Quite liked his design there

@tmp3 - Story was great too. Managed to make me feel empathy for the characters, the tragedy Alec Holland goes through and the world they inhabited in the show.

Wtf was this movie supposed to be? Lol wow. This Swamp Thing looks better than the last one, but still not as good as the TV show version. I hope the JLD show is solid

the design works if Swamp Thing was just going to have a supporting role, if he was a main character, then yeah he would need to look more human ish

As a transitional design it works - it's identical to some of the ones used in the comics. Pity the damn series is cancelled.

This just proves that in order for it to really work, a 10 episode series on HBO Max would be better. To fully flesh out each of the JLD members.

@GothamSon - yeah if they do a movie, they should at the very least give, Zatanna, Constatine and one other a solo movie first, obvious choice is swamp thing but that would depend on how big of a role he has

This definitely looks interesting, but also makes me wonder what we missed and on the other hand what Abbrams is gonna come up with. Cant be similar, otherwise this version was probably still happening
