The Haunting of Bly Manor's Rahul Kohli re-teams with Mike Flanagan for Netflix's Midnight Mass (you can check out our review here) in the pivotal role of Sheriff Hassan, but it seems the actor is keen to make the jump from the horror genre to the world of superheroes - specifically the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Kohli was asked to elaborate on previous comments he made about "not doing the Marvel thing yet" during an interview with Men's Health, and reiterated that he'd "absolutely want to" sign on for an MCU project, before adding that he "wouldn't want to do it for the sake of doing it."
You'll find the full quote in the Tweet below, in which Kohli also jokes (at least, we assume he's joking!) about wanting to play Emma Frost.
Kohli knows something about playing an outsider (his Midnight Mass character is a Muslim lawman on an island full of devout Catholics), so a role in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot is actually a great call. He doesn't mention any specific characters (Ms. Frost aside) here, but we're sure you guys will have some ideas!
