COMIC BOOK MEN's Kevin Smith Returns Home After Suffering A Massive Heart Attack
Writer, director, and ambassador of all things nerdy Kevin Smith has let his Twitter followers know that he was in better condition after suffering a heart attack earlier this week. More past the jump...
Home again, home again, jiggety-jig! Home is where the heart is and the heart is feeling good! It’s actually getting more blood flow and oxygen than it has in a long time. So I am ALERT, to say the least! Thank you for all the kind words, folks - from Vegetarian Kev, Day 2! pic.twitter.com/zLbwzx7Exq— KevinSmith (@ThatKevinSmith) February 28, 2018
Smith's medical emergency happened shortly after performing a live show in Arizona. While Smith was still in the hospital, he posted a video to his YouTube channel telling the story of his scary experience.
The writer/director is no stranger to the world of superheroes, having directed episodes of CW's The Flash and Supergirl. Smith is also a well-known commentator on comic book movies and other geeky properties on the show Fatman on Batman.
