VIDEO: Patrick Wilson & Patton Oswalt Discuss Zack Snyder's WATCHMEN

During a conversation between the two actors at the WORD Bookstore Cafe in Jersey City (of which Wilson is co-owner) a few days ago, a fan asked the pair for their thoughts on Zack Snyder's adaptation of Alan Moore's Watchmen. Their responses were pretty interesting...

Alan Moore's Watchmen is generally regarded as one of the greatest graphic novels of all time (I'd agree), and Zack Snyder's big-screen adaptation is generally considered... well, something of a noble failure? Personally I really liked it, and found most of the much-maligned changes to the source material to have worked very well. It's also true that Snyder may have been too faithful at other times, but aside from a few missteps (that sex scene for example) I thought it was a brilliant, ballsy take on the comic. But what does Patrick Wilson, who played Nite Owl II, think? Both he and self professed fanboy Patton Oswalt (Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) attended a talk at the WORD Bookstore Cafe in Jersey City on January 8th, and were quizzed about the movie by someone in attendance. Their contrasting opinions on where Snyder may/may not have gone wrong in adapting Watchman make for a very interesting watch if you're a fan.
