AVENGERS: ENDGAME Star Chris Evans Joins Antoine Fuqua's Sci-Fi Thriller INFINITE
Chris Evans is expected to hand over the iconic shield of Captain America after Avengers: Endgame, and the actor has begun to line up some exciting post MCU projects, including Antoine Fuqua's Infinite...
According top THR, Evans has signed on to play the lead role in Paramount and The Equalizer director Antoine Fuqua's Infinite, which will be an adaptation of the 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers from author D. Eric Maikranz.
The story focuses on "a group of near-immortal men and women who are reincarnated over the centuries and known as “the Infinite.” To defeat an evil mastermind who wants to destroy the planet, the group must rely on a man who suffers from schizophrenia and will have to learn that all his vivid dreams are actually memories from past lives, in order to defeat the villain."
Though this report doesn't confirm as much, we assume Evans will play the schizophrenic man that joins the group, which is known as "the Cognomina" in the book.
Evans has also booked a role alongside the likes of Daniel Craig, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson and Jamie Lee Curtis in the upcoming Rian Johnson-directed whodunit, Knives Out.
