STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER TV Spots Feature Jedi Mind Tricks And Some Revealing Leia Footage

More TV spots for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker have been released, and as well as Rey using her newfound Jedi powers, we get to see Leia holding the repaired Skywalker lightsaber. Check them out...

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is just over two and a half weeks away and Disney and Lucasfilm are now pulling out all the stops for the movie's marketing campaign. That means the TV spots are coming thick and fast, and today we have even more revealing footage from the "Skywalker Saga" finale.

As well as Leia seemingly training Rey as she holds on to the rebuilt Skywalker lightsaber, we get to see the young Jedi making good use of the Force powers she now seems to have mastered.

During an interview with Esquire, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams talked about trying to make Carrie Fisher proud. "I don’t want to talk about that, per se, because it just — I don’t think it’s quite my place, although I would love to go and talk about it, but I will say that nothing has been more important to me than making sure we do something that Carrie herself would have been happy with, and proud of. And I feel like we’ve done that."

Needless to say, it's going to be very interesting to see how Leia is handled in the film, especially as Abrams only had unused footage from the previous movies to work with for Episode IX.
