Hardcore DC Fan Freaks Out SHAZAM! Director With Creepy Shrine To DC Extended Universe's Filmmakers
After a huge fan of the DC Extended Universe shared their shrine to filmmakers like Zack Snyder and Patty Jenkins, Shazam! director David F. Sandberg understandably found himself getting freaked out!
Shazam! director David F. Sandberg is one of the most entertaining filmmakers currently on Twitter, but even he was at a loss for words when one hardcore DC Extended Universe fan recently shared their passion for his work. Well, perhaps "passion" isn't quite a strong enough word!
As you can see below, DC fanboy Daniel Gomez shared his shrine for Justice League director Zack Snyder, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, Aquaman director James Wan, The Dark Knight Trilogy director Christopher Nolan, and Sandberg. It's undeniably creepy, and a little extreme, but Gomez does deserve some credit for creating this impressive imagery featuring the filmmakers.
The DCEU has developed a passionate, loyal fanbase over the years, and they were ultimately responsible for the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement which led to Warner Bros. deciding to release Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
Depicting these filmmakers as Christ-like figures might be a step too far, though, especially when none of them have really delivered films that could be considered "masterpieces."

Is there like a German word for "flattering but also creepy"? https://t.co/573mzm9D74— David F. Sandberg (@ponysmasher) November 23, 2020
