MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN: MAXIMUM VENOM - Iron Man, Captain America And More Get "Venomized" In New Teaser
Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom promises to be bigger than either of the two previous seasons of the Disney XD animated show, and a recently released teaser for the series gives us a hint as to how.
The new teaser features some of Marvel's biggest heroes — Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and even Spider-Man himself — having been "Venomized" as a result of being exposed to the symbiote.
D23 also provided a bit more details about Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom.
“Maximum Venom isn’t your standard-issue Spider-Man, this is bigger,” explained producer Kevin Burke. “This idea of Maximum Venom – doing a Venom centric season just begged to be bigger. So instead of being your typical weekly episode, these are six-hour-long, Spider-Man/Venom movies. That’s what this ultimately is – six specials about Spider-Man, in Spider-Man: Maximum Venom.”
Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for two (not exactly smooth) years. He’s faced many super heroic and personal challenges while managing to keep New York safe. Now going into his third year at the prestigious Horizon High, Peter is confident he can handle anything that comes his way but even he can’t imagine what’s next. Venom will summon an earth-shattering threat from its home planet that will push Spider-Man to his very breaking point in a battle with global stakes.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom will debut on Disney XD in April 2020.
