The Man Who Created SPIDER-MAN 2's Web-Swinging Mechanics Takes SPIDER-MAN PS4 For A Spin
Jamie Fristrom, the man responsible for revolutionizing the way we swing around as the web-head, finally gets a chance to try out Marvel's Spider-Man to see if it stacks up to Spider-Man 2 14 years later.
2004's Spider-Man 2 was the first Spider-Man game that introduced a physics-based web-swinging system, courtesy of a man named Jamie Fristrom. The previous games featured simplistic web-swinging from the sky, but Fristrom implemented a algorithm that will allow pinpoints on buildings for Spider-Man to latch out his webs onto. The results were nothing short of spectacular, & was something that future Spider-Man games would adapt down the road. Unfortunately, none of them felt the same as Fristrom never returned to work on the games for some reason.
No Spider-Man game has captured the web-swinging like Spider-Man 2's...until now!
Recently, Jamie Fristrom got a chance to try out the newest Spidey outing on the PS4, courtesy of YouTuber Nick Robinson interviewing him. You can check out the video below to see his hands-on & thoughts.
Marvel's Spider-Man is now available for the PS4.
