Why do they ever put sleeves on hemsworth. Bts pictures revealed that on set he’s actually sleeveless the whole time and they add his sleeves via cgi. Why bother.

@KingLeonidas - think it’s easier and more practical to manipulate the metal stitching chain mail around his arm digitally for fighting and action scenes.

I remember Hemsworth said in the first Avengers that the practical Armor kept leaving him with marks on his arms so they digitalised most of it in Dark World.

@KingLeonidas - Well they were doing the JMS version, but I much prefer the Simonson/Kirby look. I still wish the helmet was a mainstay

@KingLeonidas - think it’s something to do with commercialising the characters look?

I agree with having the character sleeveless, but I think it symbolises Thor going Super Saiyan Battle mode for the modern audiences?
