BUMBLEBEE Stomps Past $100 Million Domestic & $300 Million Worldwide; Plus New International Posters

As many expected, Paramount's Bumblebee is showing off some really healthy legs at the global box office and it's now topped $100 million in the United States and $300 million worldwide.

Slowly, but surely, Travis Knight's critically-acclaimed Bumblebee continues to pick up steam at the global box office and thanks to healthy pair of legs, it's now officially topped $307.9 million worldwide ($100.1M domestic; $207.8M foreign) less than one month into its run.

The Paramount Pictures production reportedly cost $135 million (without P&A), so these latest numbers are incredibly promising and bode well for not only a sequel, but also the future of the Transformers franchise as the studio hopes to breathe new life into the blockbuster action series that used to repeatedly churn out billion-dollar hits.

On its current trajectory, a finish in the $400 million range seems probable, but it'll still way too early to make a call as its run is far from over and we could ultimately see it finish higher or possibly lower, depending on how it holds internationally over the course of the next few weeks.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
